kevnaminute Posted November 7, 2012 Report Posted November 7, 2012 Is it better to reinforce the backs? I've noticed the ABS is a little thin where the mike tips go and I saw where Panda had done that with some putty...Just wondering if it makes a big difference? Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted November 7, 2012 Report Posted November 7, 2012 I just smeared a coat of 5 minute epoxy over the inside just to add a little strength. Also trying to get both of them to align was a bit of fun but what I used was two small pieces of black hose, which I cut on a slant, I then put it between the lid and mic, you can then rotate this slanted rubber washer which in turn allows you to rotate the mic until it is straight, hope that made sense. Tray[TK] Posted November 8, 2012 Report Posted November 8, 2012 I used a washer. I pushed from the inside out so the plastic was touching the base of the mic tips. With a washer and nut it holds pretty well and have never had any problems with the helmet or mic tips cracking. Quote
