flashpoint0214[TK] Posted October 18, 2012 Report Share Posted October 18, 2012 I downloaded the template from the builders club and got a 4' piece of 1-1/4" pvc schedule 40 pipe. Next was getting the resin parts. Instead of a Doopy Doos pipe build kit my father had some molds, so he made the parts for me. Assembly started I made a bolt out of some 1" pipe so it would fit nice and snug into the chamber I fit a pin into the cocking lever for support. I also put extra support through the barrel into the clip and housing. The grip has two gripper screws for extra support also. Here is the final assembly. I went to lowes and got a 8' piece of humigrid ceiling tilr track and cut it down for t-track's. Once I cut them down I just dipped the ends in boiling water so they would bend with ease. A little straightening and sanding and they looked ok. Ready for paint. A flat prime coat. The final 3 gloss coats. Ok, any and all criticism welcome.
