JoeR Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 Is there anyone else who would be interested in collaborating to get some really screen accurate decals done? I would like to get some regular and Mark II ESB and ROTJ decals made. Does anyone know anyone who could do this? With the recent RS Props helmets we (as a community) have nailed screen accuracy. This would be one of the last few things to accomplish to make some 100% accurate ESB and ROTJ helmets. Joe Quote
Sonnenschein Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 I looked into this a few years ago. A good start would be asking at your local art college. Quote
JoeR Posted September 28, 2012 Author Report Posted September 28, 2012 I would prefer someone who knows our hobby to do it. Was hoping someone on the forum might be able to help out. Quote
Sonnenschein Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 I see That would be the best, of course! Quote
Daetrin[Admin] Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 I know several folks have investigated this but am not sure where they are in the process. I'll let them chime in themselves, as I'm not sure what their timeframes are, or even if they are still active in this area. Quote
JoeR Posted September 28, 2012 Author Report Posted September 28, 2012 Thanks Paul. I have a ton of reference photos and scans from an original. Toomuchgarlic has a tracing from the TE ROTJ helmet. Joe Quote
Verne Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 I can trace the decals of the TE ROTJ helmet (Hero ROTJ) too (since I also have a resin copy of the screenused helmet) Quote
JoeR Posted September 28, 2012 Author Report Posted September 28, 2012 That would be really useful thanks Fabien. Joe Quote
