deciding on new armor

Hey everyone, im new to the forums and looking at getting info on a trooper build. Im 6 foot, 195 pounds. Ihave narrowed the armor down to ap, am or ata. Anyone have any thoughts? Also, what tools do you guys recommend to help build the suit. Thanks for the imput!

Snap pliers are a nice thing to have. Pop rivots, E6000 adhesive, industrial velcro, sandpaper, clamps and some strong snips or shears are a good start, good luck and remember to measure twice, cut once and don't think any question is too silly to ask.

I think they're referring to vario pliers, used for setting snap buttons. (which, being 'Strayan, we call press-studs- damn language barriers)
