Finally picked up the tools again...

...and started trimming my shins. Go the right all rough trimmed up and started trying to hold it together on my leg. This has got to be the most uncomfortable thing ever, I thought. It's rubbing/cutting in like 12 spots. Why is this not fitting right? What is going on here...

Turned it around the correct way and there is plenty of room and I think it just might fit. At this rate I just might have my armor done for CXI.

lol, Nathan, remember if you want any local help or advice or just want to get your hands on some armor to see how someone else did something shoot me a PM or another garrison member. I actually did this same thing the first time I held one of those up to my leg as well. I'm in KCK, so only about 20 minutes away.

I might have to take you up on that one of these days. It seems between work, Army and children obligations I only ever get an hour or two here and there to work on it. I'm hoping to get it done and wearable, if not approved, by halloween. My oldest daughter has decided that she wants to be Princess Darth Vader and I think a Stormtrooper escort would be great for that.
