Hey there,

I have perused pictures and the forums but cant seem to find the correct way the male snap faces on the top right on the ab plate. I have seen some that have the snap end facing out on the outside of the armor and some that are facing in with the butt end sitting on the outside of the armor. What is the correct way? Any clarification would be appreciated please!

It faces inward ,there's a strap that comes from the back plate that connects to it holding the two back and the front together. So it does have a purpose.

I have another question concerning this topic: What type of snap do i use? It´s male, okay... But i saw different types on other troopers (flat type "Sports and Camping Snap" ones, nipple type poppers and grooved ones in different diameters), so i wanted to ask if anybody has a picture showing the ones they used on the originals?

There are several pictures in our reference galleries. But too many members don't know we have them. All the original snaps are of the nipple kind from a brand named "newey".

Ahh, thanks! That's exactly what I was searching for. I have to admit that I really didn't think of checking the reference galleries, sorry for that!

FYI there is an interior shot of the Mark II ESB helmet in the ROTJ section. It's the photo of the interior with the foam lining.
