Woot! Got the rest of the painting done. I'd say this thing is about finished. I'll probably paint the screws on the ears white so they are less visible. I ended up finding some french blue paint at a hobby shop and used that instead of the bright blue I already had. The only thing is that it's acrylic and I'm a little worried about how easily it can get messed up if it gets wet at all. Any ideas for a good paint sealer?? I hand painted the ears and just used some intuition to make it look good. I ended up getting the trooperbay decals for all the stripes and used my brother's air brush to paint them. I'm really happy with the way this has turned out. Thanks to all the other build threads and tutorials that acted as my guide!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I ended up ripping out the padding from a baseball helmet I got at sports authority. Had to trim it down a bit, but it works pretty well. Nice and snug. It's connected with velcro.
