New RS Prop Master Helmet

Recommended Posts

This my first Stormtrooper helmet. I had done a ton of research and it came down to RS Prop master for my first helmet. This helmet as many of you know comes from a screen used helmet. I had posted in another thread trying to find a picture that matched as close as I could. Not trying to say this mask wasn't real, only to have a picture next to it just for fun when displaying.

The first thing you notice when you get the helmet for the first time is the wonk-ness of it all. I even emailed Rob to say. "hey I think there is a couple problems" But after talking with him and looking at the threads here of real helmets. Yup, it's wonky- ness of it. You would think in a major movie these would have been perfect shiny globes of white plastic. Having built some guitars that I made look like they had been on the road for 20 years I get.

Here are some pic and thanks to Rob and Si for this cool helmet. Any questions feel free to ask.

Does anyone have a preferred method for adding a the mesh behind the frown? I don't really want anything too permanet to that could ruin the plastic. Maybe double sided tape?

Double sided tape or regular tape around the mesh would work. Trooper Bay sells frown mesh.
