gtech Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 (edited) This my first Stormtrooper helmet. I had done a ton of research and it came down to RS Prop master for my first helmet. This helmet as many of you know comes from a screen used helmet. I had posted in another thread trying to find a picture that matched as close as I could. Not trying to say this mask wasn't real, only to have a picture next to it just for fun when displaying. The first thing you notice when you get the helmet for the first time is the wonk-ness of it all. I even emailed Rob to say. "hey I think there is a couple problems" But after talking with him and looking at the threads here of real helmets. Yup, it's wonky- ness of it. You would think in a major movie these would have been perfect shiny globes of white plastic. Having built some guitars that I made look like they had been on the road for 20 years I get. Here are some pic and thanks to Rob and Si for this cool helmet. Any questions feel free to ask. Edited April 30, 2012 by gtech Quote
NastyNoah[TK] Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 Thats a good looking bucket. What armor are you going to use with it? Quote
MClass Posted May 1, 2012 Report Posted May 1, 2012 I have the same helmet. Certainly one of the sharpest and most accurate stunts out there. Quote

MClass Posted May 1, 2012 Report Posted May 1, 2012 Do you have the RS Armor? Not currently but wouldn't mind owning an RS suit. Quote
gtech Posted May 2, 2012 Author Report Posted May 2, 2012 Does anyone have a preferred method for adding a the mesh behind the frown? I don't really want anything too permanet to that could ruin the plastic. Maybe double sided tape? Quote
Chivo Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 Hot glue gun would work and easy to pull off later . Quote

galaia2004 Posted June 25, 2012 Report Posted June 25, 2012 Hi gtech - looks great. Did you put it together yourself as a kit or purchase ready-made? Thanks. Quote
markmg Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 Hi gtech, is this the pvc or abs RS helmet ? Do you painted the white colour of the helmet ? Looks awesome btw. Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 Looks awesome, nice worth there Quote
Turrican Posted September 23, 2012 Report Posted September 23, 2012 Nice one, but i would trim the ears a bit thinner on the area where they go over the tubes. If i'm correct than this is the ABS version. Quote
