It looks like a cartoon and you can't use it...

 

Or can you? ;)

 

Step 1: Take a standard lamp and remove the shade.

 

Step 2: Drill a hole in your FX bucket

 

Step 3: Attach to lamp.

 

Now after all this time we finally find a use for that horrendous FX helmet.

That is quite cool! But won't it yellow a lot in a short time? (and possibly melt a bit if you leave it on for too long?)

There was a thread about this idea a while ago, but they refused to use FX lids because of their innacuracy. :lol: It'd be an awesome idea if you took the proper precautions to avoid melting.

I'd do it, but I don't wanna spend money on an FX just to do it. :lol: maybe one day if I ever really stuff up a helmet I will do it.

Spec, you could always tell Bryce about this- tell him it's the best thing ever and he should totally get some other helmet so he can make his FX into a lamp! ;)

Haha yeah I could do that. :P I'll let him wait and see for himself how innacurate it is compared to ours and everyone else's, he'll change it soon enough. :P
