I used pop-rivets to secure the plastic belt to the canvas belt (with washers on the back side) and then used heavy duty snaps to connect the belt to the ab plate.

I suggest using Dritz size 24 heavy duty snaps and make sure you get the Dritz 24p snap tool for those snaps.

 

Just google "Dritz 24P Heavy Duty Plier Kit for Heavy Duty Snaps".

Hey i just got my armor but need to get a canvas belt and was wondering where could i purchase one anyone know? thanks.

Are there any regulations (501st or any other set of standards) on the material that the white strips (the ones on the drop boxes) are made out of?

The original suits used 1" white elastic. Can't go wrong with that.
