  1. Are there any regulations (501st or any other set of standards) on the material that the white strips (the ones on the drop boxes) are made out of?
  2. Just out of curiosity, has anyone made a dark trooper outfit before (and what do they count as, spec ops or storm troopers)? I remember them as these guys (from battlefront), but I'm sure anyone who played the Dark Forces would recognise them too. (If the picture's glitching out for you, here's a link: http://historiophilosophy.freehostia.com/images/p2trooper.jpg)
  3. As great as the screen accurate rubber gloves may look, I have a feeling it wouldn't be much fun on a 40°C day. What alternatives are there to rubber and where can you get them (In particular, where could I get any in Australia)? Edit: In case you were confused or you don't read Celsius, yes, 40°C is hot
  4. Is there anything wrong with hasbros? (As in apart from having to mod/covert them)
  5. Just in case you hadn't guessed, I am a novice That said, how much do kits usually cost? I'm about 172 cm (I think that's 5 ft 7") and 60 kg (about 132lb) and I'd be interested in an ANH set. How much more do ready-to-wear sets usually cost (they do cost more, right?)? I don't really trust myself to put one together well, but if it's significantly cheaper, I don't mind trying [edit: Sorry if there's a better thread for this]
