Hey there fellow troopers! Just wanna show you guys my finished vt helmet that I sort of completed today. I just need to put the lens, necktrim, padding and a little fan i have inside my fx and it's troopable!

lookin pretty sweet.

 

mind if I share some thoughts? trim out the eye tops more, across the forehead. trim out the bottom of the ear caps near the

neck trim, just until you can't see the lip. and I don't see any ear black edge trim/ rank bars/ switch trim.

 

you did a good job of capturing the stunt look... should look great with neck trim, and those little finishing touches? yes?

sorry to say, but the tube stripes could go a little higher on the tubes and you put them on the wrong side. I also agree with the others about the eyes, they could do with a lot more trimming in fact. Else it's not too bad at all

I like the top the way you have it, but would definitely trim back the ears and eyes a little. Stripes ARE too low, should be a pencil width from the sides. Other than that it's coming together quite well!

Bummer, but thanks for the tips to you all! I will get to work first hour tomorrow on it. I already have some tube decals on the way, so I'll go trim the eyes and ears and upload once again pictures of the final result.

Quick update!

 

I took the dremel and I toned down the eyes a little bit according to the pictures that Jesse kindly showed to me. I tried to make them look the same, but I'm still full of doubts if it's okay or not.

Quick update. I ordered some decals from mike and this is the final product. I hope i placed them correctly this time.
