Or you could always make your own...

Luis, why is being a big boy a problem, I too am a big bloke and will be applying for EIB and Centurion status in the early part of 2012. Just have a Blaster and boot issue. Nothing is stated in the CRL regarding the size of a trooper. As long as you meet the red criteria, why should you not be granted the status. To not give a person who ticks all the boxes the status just simply because of their size would be discrimination and I don't think that apply's here as most people who give a damn strive to be as accurate as possible. Tall, small, fat, thin - the status is open to everyone. Please correct me if I am wrong ....
As you can see, all I need to do is get a "D" ring for my SDS blaster for EIB
and I need to change my boots for Centurion as they are CA boots but am currently working on something at the mo, and add a snap to my AB plate
I have the ATA ABS armor and the way I built it, my side gaps are too big at the moment for Centurion. I really don't want to go about adding any shimming to it, so I'll just have to lose the weight. I'm not in any rush and my armor is up to Centurion standards, it's just my gut that isn't.

I would say probably ATA HIPS.

I know pretty much everyone in the 501st uses Paypal to send out payments for things such as coins, armor, props, patches etc, but maybe that can change. Paypal and other money transferring websites charge a percentage per transaction . I'd been trying to find a new way to send money around without having to pay so much in fees and I think I've found it.
It's called Dwolla. It's very similar to Paypal in that you can add an account to send, receive, and request money. The main difference is that it only charges 25 cents per transaction to receive funds!
See here: http://help.dwolla.com/customer/portal/articles/86684-dwolla-fees
The one thing I didn't see was a way to add a credit card like in Paypal, but it does let you add a bank account. Also, I haven't seen anything mentioned as far as currency conversion. I know that Paypal charges a ton for that, which really turned me off from them.
Now, I haven't used it at all yet so I don't know what kind of cons it has, but overall it seems to be a pretty good deal especially considering I'm always sending money back and forth through Paypal.
Has anyone used it before? Positives/Negatives or other comments?

Compression gear or Skin dive suits are excellent for summer temps. Extreme racing gear is good for colder temps as it's cotton. (I have heard some people have problems with their arms fitting snugly though) I would assume the cold gear is good for that also, but I have not tried it out. Compression gear can be purchased at any sports equipment store online or locally. You can even get lucky and find the cheaper stuff at Wallyworld or Target. Skin dive suits you can grab them from any diving retailer such as Diver's Direct.

I'm in the same boat as Steve. Too fat for Centurion at the moment. Haha.

Jesse hooked me up with a replacement scope when my gf dropped one and broke it! He also went out of his way to exchange some old scopes with the new brass ones he was making. Big Kudos to him!

You mean like this?
----------
That was in my FX armor. I can also confirm sitting is possible in ATA as well. I'll let you know later on the CfO but I suspect I'll find a way in that stuff also.

The ones I had were these:-----------
I didn't really experience any bleed until C5, so about a year later. It wasn't so much that they were dripping dye or anything, I would just notice smudge marks on my bucket after holding it or putting it on. Could have been any other number of factors.
-
My old nomex gloves indeed used to bleed after long trooping sessions. Being in FL you tend to sweat a ton. Once they're wet, they tend to leave marks on anything you touch. Including your bucket.

I was checking this out earlier and I have to say this is AMAZING. I'm not even a fan of the Deathtrooper, but this guy's work is TOP NOTCH. That said, I would love to see something like this done on a set of more accurate armor, but still. WOW!
-
Awesome! Thanks, brother.
-
No, it's not a tour suit.
It's a mixture of ESB and ESB MKII.
Thanks for clearing that up, Paul.

Tape a firecracker on there and blow it up. Spray some light clear coat on it, and call it a blaster mark.

I was looking at this image on the Christie's website: http://www.christies.com/lotfinder/ZoomImage.aspx?image=/lotfinderimages/d55053/d5505302&IntObjectID=5505302
If you zoom into the belt, you can see the ammo part has 45 degree cuts. Should this be added or fixed in the CRL as accurate?

Tandy tools are nothing like that. Those would be awesome to keep the stupid snaps from sliding around when you're banging the crap out of them. I wonder if they would fit the Tandy snaps. Do they sell the tool kits separate?
-
I don't. I've weathered my armor a bit and let it scuff and wear naturally.

You think real Stormtroopers never had problems with their butts rubbing on things they shouldn't?

luis. you have some interesting information: but meamine foam products are a co polymer and they do leave a residue.
here is the WIKI which shows more information on the micro fine sandpaper aspects, and the CHEMICAL residue which has metallic co polymers!
I stand corrected. Thanks for the info. Either way, like I said Magic Erasers are a bad idea.
-
Magic Erasers do not contain chemicals so that part is fine. The part that I would say to steer clear of them is that they act as a sort of sandpaper. The foam in Magic Erasers is actually kind of like a glass, so if you use them on your shiny armor, it might not be so shiny afterwards.
Here's a link for those that want more info on how they work: http://home.howstuffworks.com/magic-eraser1.htm

But no ones in size 10.5
When I ordered my size 10s there was actually enough room in my boot to fit an insole and still fit me. I wear a size ten so that might be saying something.

I use the hammer method or a C-Clamp on them depending on where they're going. Just bend the legs out with a screwdriver and then you're ready to set them.

Cleaning armor is for desk jockeys. I let mine accumulate dings and dirt. Also, I had my old armor for over 2 years and never once cleaned the inside and it didn't smell one bit. The one thing you need to always remember is when you come home after a troop, keep your bin open for the rest of the day so the armor can air out. Oh, and always wash your under armor.

Some people just pop out a set of old lenses and glue them to the TK lenses.
