  1. Ok here's a shot of the TM & AP Button Plates from the AB Section, as well as the fixing covers for the belt .... .... TM on the left and AP on the Right! Bear in mind the TM stuff hasn't been trimmed yet .... and the AP stuff has been over trimmed! Lol .. which is why i got the TM bits from Paul!
  2. ANH Armour with seperate Button plate .... FX Armour with moulded plate (push on buttons) .... .... I'll also post some pics of the AP Button plate and the TM Button Plate in a while as a comparison!
  3. I think TE means that the seperate plate on the AB section has the buttons cast on it, unlike the FX suit where you have to push the buttons on seperately? .... but correct me if im wrong?
  4. Will do .... they are round my GF's at the mo as been working on my Armour there today, but will pick them up tomorrow and take some high res shots and post em up so you guys can compare!
  5. Started putting the Armour together this weekend. Following Curtis's thread helped and i used electrical tape to mask the seams. Decided against using Plastic Weld and used Plastic Bond instead which worked really well. Got a good solid join, but (if required) i think you could propbably break it apart with some serious force Not sure wether im gonna glue the inside seams yet or use velcro, so have left the inside for the time being? Biceps next ....
  6. Well the last bits have been trimmed .... (i know, i havent finished the belt corners etc yet!) .... and ive got me Boots from CA, Neckseal from Mrs TK409, and Canvas belt from FBJ .... .... so its time to start building people! Now where's me glue?
  7. Thanks Bernard, just spoken to Paul and he's sorted me out!!
  8. After a slight accident with me Dremmel, i need the seperate Button plate for the AB Section on a set of AP Armour! Can anybody help? .... Please! Graham.
  9. Nearly finished all the trimming .... finished the Back, Butt and knee plate and also the Forearms and Shoulders over the weekend .... so just the Biceps, Belt and Fiddly Bits to go ....

  11. Jim, Can you not just move them further down the chest plate and back plate ?? G.
  12. Cheers Curtis .... its so helpfull being able to refer to your build thread bud i can tell ya!!! Managed to spend some time on getting the lower legs trimmed up over the weekend ....
  13. Ok folks here's the latest .... Tonight i completely finished the trimming and sanding etc on the Chest Plate, AB Plate and Kidney Plate. Having never done anything on this scale before i think its looking ok so far? NB: the reduced picture size makes it look a bit ruff on the edges, but if ya view it full size it looks ok!
  14. Sorry for the lack of progress reports people but had a bad case of Man Flu this week and we all know how bad that is!! Lol Done a bit more trimming, but been waiting for me new Dremel kit to arrive, which came today, so hopefully i'll be cracking on with it on Monday!! Watch this space ....

  19. Well after recieving my first (AP) Armour Kit on Friday last week i started work tonight .... This is the kit when i first unpacked it .... .... and this is the progress i made on it tonight. Rough trimmed the Forearms, Biceps and Shoulders. Chest Plate, AB Plate, Backplate, Kidney and Butt Plate. .... oh and for anyone building Armour from a kit and using snippers to trim off the excess .... make sure you have plenty of plasters!!!!! Not sure i'll be able to explain the blisters to me Girlfriend .... she'll probably think i've been looking up Drew Barrymore on the Interweb or something!!
  20. Ok thats cool, just wanted to make sure it was ok Thanks
  21. After unpacking my AP Armour i noticed that the top of the Back (where the straps attach) has a really bad cast? Is this ok? I know the straps cover it but just want to check they are all like that and its not a bad pull? See below ..
