  1. I'm looking forward to this. Its in my area, Sacramento-CA, this weekend. A good number of our local 501st garrison will be at the two performances. I'll be out there on Sat.
  2. I took one pic while I was there but my fellow Garrison member, TB 0053, took quite a few of this helmet. This particular one has the Star Wars badge on the back of it.
  3. Great job with the armor. I've sent a message to ATA and I'm on the waiting list for a set too.
  4. I got an FX too. Sitting on a stool is no problem. Actually, I drove my car while wearing my chest, back, ab & kidney. I'm 5'7, I did some trimming to my chest piece because at first I wasn't able to see the buttons and details on the ab section. I separated the cod piece from the rest of the ab section and took off about an inch and a quarter. I took the same amount off the kidney section too which is also two pieces (butt & kidney). I guess if I trimmed my leg pieces I could safely operate a vehicle and sit down all the way.
  5. I've been following this thread ever since I first saw it. My question is has anyone else seen that someone is selling "flexible" armor on ebay now? Here's the title: Star Wars - PT Stormtrooper Flexible Armor Costume Kit What's going on???
  6. Yeah I'll watch the Original Trilogy all the time. But after getting my own set of armor your focus changes from the story to the costumes for research purposes. It's hilarious but I think it all happens to us at some point.
  7. I'll be there Fri & Sat. I've been there 3 times in the past. This is the first time I'll be attending more than one day. Honestly, I wish I had a 4 day pass. There's just so much good stuff. It's awesome :headphone: Pop culture utopia!
  8. Here's a site that has two fans + switch + 3 batteries. Just take out the third battery and I think you have the setup you're looking for.Fan setup
