OK well lets list these questions Can i continue with 4 bumps on the hero or DOES it have to be 3? If It has to be can i put TE com covers on the ap helmet and still be acceptable? For stunt current setup is fine minus paint and adding teeth and green lens?

Altho I didnt say it it is my intention to go hero, already have the frown cut and painted ears shouldnt be to hard to remove the extra screw, but Do I have to make it 3 bumps instead of 4 cuase that would be a task. And brian little bit of mighty putty 30 hour cure, sand and paint came out good. not the best but good

This is very true I used the same arguement when people tell me i should close mine lol but at the same time tring to make shims for this sucks BUT if you really want some I used a friends ap calfs to make them just trimmed them down but they are expensive to do that with

No when you heated up the shim you just used the leg piece to make your shim how did you keep it from warping the calf

Well IM about 5'11" 270 pounds been tk for awhile but Im still having issues How are you other guys making shims for calfs and biceps if i can get pics that would be great

OK I'm goin there I recently had a guy that bought this armor, and informed him that it wasnt 501st approved so he went to buy a lite fx kit and a helmet. Did I misinform him or does the rubie need a helmet and alot of mods? Is it really worth the time to mod it ? heres the helemts he is trying to use -------- But i can exactly thik of what to tell him about these helmets to get him to get a new one and to not sound like a a very impolite person about it Im goin to get him to get a ap or try to get a te2

As much as I hate to say it he does take a bit to respond but he is very willing to take the time and talk to you when he does

I have my Full size speaker from my rom\FX kit behind my chest piece just over my heart, if you watch the video on this forum thread it doesnt do half bad -------- with the speaker I took a piece of 2in white industrial velcro and cut a piece to cover the whole front of the speak, both pieces. Then i cut a square in that section of velcro so the sound would not be muffled, while the kit is on it uses my chest piece to resonate the sound out, turns it to a bigger speaker with sound vibrations. check out the first link or the second link and look at the video, it works very well and everyone can cleary hear me. But still not usable in a large crowd trying to reach some one 30 people away

Not to be a butthead but there isnt anything on the holster in the standards, that I could find. If you can point me there I would be very thankful.

I have FX armor with a few mods here and there, Ive been noticing I'm almost on my way to beingpart of the elite on FISD I have a Ap helmet and a homemade E-11 blaster by a trooper named Jim Carrol he sells them on ebay as racooncitypolice This will be a dev journal of my process here So Im goin to start with parts I already have, in the order below. Canvas Belt - WIP Ab buttons - Next Removing rivets from chest piece - ???? Painting the armor - when I get $$$$ Ok! Lets start I order my holster from Nyghtcraft Really great work and I love the smell of leather And I have the canvas belt also Well the standards state that the holster is plaed behind the canvas belt and with the money I paid for the holster, NO WAY IN HELL am I carving it up to snap it there. So what i did was add 4 snaps to my canvas belt and to a piece of abs behind it Hers a pic with the blaster in place Once I finished with placement I painted the buttons white to match belt. Any tips would be greatly appreciatated What are the paint colors for the ab buttons I have the gray just not the blue Further updaes to come...
