First of all, many thank to all who have support the DG! We got some very cool responses and sympathy, so thanks The support of fellow troopers makes it a bit easier to deal with these circumstances. Let me put an update here, not to start the discussion agina. All is said and done, and what the next steps will be depends on all parties involved. The case is now under the attention of the DA. He can and will rule about the issue. The troopers who got their blasters taken anway can expect anything from a fain ($250) or even a house visit. For the DG, we are under the attention of the police. Our CO and me have asked all DG troopers to leave any plastic blasters at home. For an unknown period we are very carefull because to police just might visit us again. So, it has taken some fun away from trooping for other garrisons trooping in Holland, please be aware of the issue. On our multi-garrison event some weeks ago we asked foreign troopers to not take their plastic blasters with them. That also takes a bit of fun away for them I want to make it clear that there was no contact or exchange of information between Vincent and the (council of the) DG. On one occassion our CO asked Vincent not to pursue the issue, but he did as we all know now. Vincent has not made an officially appology towards the DG and its memers, nor has he officially assigned to the 501st/DG at this moment. John XO Dutch Garrison

This is may solution to place the Rom/Fx with the long cables in your TK armor. ---------- Some exra cable binders to keep the long cables together and put them behind the armor. Works great for me.

Order my about two months ago and it arrived today. All is there and working so i am happy. Now to put in the bucket and ready to play. Most cool thing is that when you switch it on, the first thing you hear is your TK number COOL!!

It was three days of fun and entertainment. Best part of all, the Space-Expo donated to No-Kidding, the Dutch organization against child abuse, one of the organizations the Dutch Outpost supports. It is the life-action TV series, so I assume they would use real stormtroopers and no CGI Sure, TV series would be beteer with actual actors, but *no actual actors* where used in the OT that played stormtroopers. But I get your point.

The Star Wars life action TV series (SW-LA) will, according to George, have no Jedi, but there are stormtroopers! Yeah, go George! I was wondering since the time periode between Episode III and IV, will we see a Trooper version between the Episode III Clone trooper and Episode IV Storm trooper? If so, what do you think the trooper armor will look like. And also, where can I get some.....? I think a different trooper then the Stormtrooper would be great. However, if Lucas is casting Stormtroopers then I would like to say here and now that I am available. I do life action, blue screen, green screen, you name it. John

For now I have placed 1 vent with 1 battery (9 volt). It is in the front and I may place one vent in the back. The switch is placed on a L-shaped piece of plastic and hot glued to the helmet. You can see this in the pics, look at the top of the pics. For the battery I will place a holder. John

Depends on how and where you place the fans. I place them in the front and slightly angled. So the wind is blown upwards and also side ways at the back. The fans make a triangle with the helmet. Yo can also cut out a thicker slice of foam (twice as thick as the fan) and cut out the sides exept for the corners. The on the four cornes some hot glue and then there is space for air circulation. I have not yet glued the foam so I am trying some different setup. Will post again when I have made the 'final' setup. I place them not straight up front, but more to the side in the tube. John

I will place two fans in the front. I want to be anle to replace them and I want to reduce the sound. So I cut out some foam pieces (see pic below). I made a litte hole on the side for the cables to go through. Then place the fan inside and hot glue the foam (pic 2 below). This way the vibration is reduced by the foam as is the sound. I still get enough wind, also coming back from the helmet because there is space behidng the fan. And when either fan needs replacing I take them out, the foam stays, and put a new one in. I works fine for me. John

Went to the motor shop where I found some undersuits via the internet. Bought some so now I finally have my undersuit, last piece of the puzzle! Pants : Craft Shirt : Alpinestars summer shirt (take XXXL if you are L) I would receommend going to your local motor shop to see what they have on undersuits. The main difference with sport undersuits (Under Armor) is that there are no lables, it is completly black. There are summer and winter version for inderdoor en outdoor trooping. John
