  1. I just did the same a minute ago! What an awesome new look for our great forum. It is more then worthy for the most visible extension of Imperial might: the Imperial Stormtrooper!!!
  2. Just one word: WOW !!! You really did some stunning work! That ROTJ-Armor just looks awesome. Congratulations for your impressive (... most impressive... ) work and for being the first ROTJ Elite Trooper ever! Great work Bernard! Cheers, Alex
  3. @Fitzgerald: Wow, nice image of the Master Chief. That graphic looks great, I wish I could work such magic with photoshop ! @Daetrin and Scott: No problem guys, thanks for letting me know. Take your time, I just wanted to make sure not to be forgotten . I would love to be of any help, but unfortunately me and photoshop are two different worlds (which will never find together) . Many greetings, Alex
  4. By the way, will my pic be added to the deployment page http://www.whitearmor.net/elite/default.htm ? I just wondered, as there are already the names of Efren and Curtis added, but I am still missing . Sorry for my lack of patience, but I would just love to see myself standing in front of that "Tantive IV- door" . Cheers Alex
  5. Hi Efreng, nice work and a great looking armor! Congratulations on that and salute to a new ANH Elite Trooper. Best regards, Alex
  6. Hi Daetrin, I just discovered that you still lack TM pictures for this project. If they are good enough, you can use mine from the "Elite status request thread": I added one with my bucket off: If you need them in a higher resolution (5 Mio Pixels) I will mail them to you. Just let me know. I hope that helps, cheers Alex
  7. Hey guys, thank you very much for all the kind words on my pics and armor and of course for granting me that Elite status! But I can not mention it often enough, I am just the lucky guy wearing that piece of art and posing for pictures with it. Without all of TM´s effort and the work and time he put into it, I could not have applied for Elite Status so easily. Basically I just opened the box, put on the suit, took the pics and applied for the Elite status (a very short summary of what happened ). The true praise has to go to TM (can not say it often enough ). My main achievement is to look good in his armor , lol. @Stomper: Aren´t these Hovi-Mix aerators truelly magnificient? And would you believe they even got speakers inside ?!? You are right about the knee plate. I took the pics on a 10 hour troop and it just shifted down. I will definitely velcro it in place. @TK-8280 Hey, nobody said you can not do the same thing and also go for ANH ! But actually you are right, although I think all your efforts in creating this ROTJ-Elite Armor will pay off at the end and will surely look great. And you will be the only one! @TK_MD You are right about the fan! While being there I did not notice it, but I guess that is the proof, that they just disguised a secretly landed "Venator-class Star Destroyer" as innocent shopping mall! Wow, I trooped aboard an Imperial vessel! (I guess I badly need some sleep and need to go to bed now, I start to get crazy here ) Good night, Alex
  8. Hello, thanks to the outstanding work, time and effort that TM put into building and assembling my beloved new armor for me, I feel confident enough to try and go for the Elite status. Please let me know what you think and if I am up for Elite status (and if not, what to work on). Again, thank you very much TM!!! Cheers, Alex
  9. TK-5907 finally reporting for duty (yeeehaaa!!! ) and requesting 501 status: http://www.501st.com/members/displaymember...cfm?userID=8419 Thanks, Alex
  10. Once I got it, I will definitely post closeup pics of all the included parts. Just let me know, what kind of pics you will need for adjusting your Bommar to the RomFX.
  11. I will try to find out about the mic for the RomFX and let you know later. The homepage states the following about the Mic: "... a unidirectional microphone (a 12" lead with the mic on one end and a 3.5mm jack plug on the other)..." Concerning the speaker, you can use any speaker with a 3.5mm Jack plug. It does not need to go in the chest necessarily. I will use mine with Stompers Hovi Mic Aerator-speakers. I just ordered my RomFX and it should be here by next week. So for me personally, the best solution would be your Bommar (with fans, speakers and so on) in which I can add the RomFX I already have. By the way, the RomFX runs on 12V with 2 battery holders with 4x 1.5V AA batteries per holder (connected over a 9V PP3 Battery-connector). Cheers, Alex
  12. Hi Wyatt, you can use the RomFX as it is out of the box (just connect micro and speakers to it by 3.5mm jack plug), as it has an integrated amplifier (so no extra amp needed). Here are the technical specifications: http://www.yourmovecreep.co.uk/romfx/techspec.htm http://www.romfx.com/ I prefer the RomFX because of the sound effects (static burst, voice modulation), but would love to combine it with Bommar (or a similar setup) because of the nice Imperial look and the integrated fans. So if you could really build a kit for my RomFX that makes it look as nice as Bommar and has fans incorporated, I would be more then happy to purchase it from you . Greetings, Alex
  13. Hey Wyatt, and please do not forget the "Romfx"-Users with or without FX-Buckets !!! Good luck with your new molds and once again thank you very much for your great underarmor (I just love it, makes me look more muscular ), cheers Alex
  14. I would be definitely interested in some pics as your idea sounds like a cheap and fairly easy to build alternative for displaying a TK! Thanks, Alex
  15. @mrfurious That really is a great idea and it looks very good in the bucket. I would really like to try that myself. @Bigturc The manufacturer is named "Scruffs" and here is the corresponding page from their homepage with a good picture: ---------- Unfortunately they only take orders from inside the UK. I hope that helped a bit, greetings Alex
  16. @Daetrin: I definitely fully agree to that! This combination would be perfect! @Wyatt: Thanks for looking into the possibilities of mixing your system with the romf/x. It is a pity that they are not compatible right away. But perhaps, if you can get your hands on someone´s RomF/X (unfortunately I do not have one yet), you could think about offering a compatible setup later on? Or how about just offering the parts of your set piece by piece (speakers with housing and 3.5mm jack plug, housings for the board and batteries, your switch-assembly with fans), like a plug-and-play kit where everybody can decide what to incorporate. That way everyone can buy the parts they need and incorporate their RomF/X themselves with just a little building. I think my suggestions are asking of too much, but that is only the case, because I am a totally technical-noob and therefore I guess I can not even imagine how much work that would be. I hope you do not get my suggestions wrong. I do not want to push you in any directions, I as technical-Noob am just trying to think about possible solutions. Many greetings Alex
  17. Hello, earlier on I asked about compatibility with a RomFX and it seems like, that the Mic has to be connected to the RomFX directly in order for the RomFX to work properly. So in order to incorporate the RomFX into your system it seems to be necessary, 1. to connect the "Line-out" of the RomFx with your Amplifier and 2. your Mic directly with the "Line-in" of the RomFX. I fear that could get complicated. Do you thing it could be done? Unfortunately I do not have a sound board yet, so I can just think about what I read online. Best regards, Alex
  18. Hi Wyatt, I do not know, if I already mentioned it in an earlier post, but please put me on the list, as I definitely want one of these awesome babies!!!
  19. Hey, that would be great! I hope it will be somehow possible, that would be the best of both worlds (a great setup + the best effects so far). Thanks for checking it out, best regards Alex
  20. Hi, congratulations on your new armor and good luck and a lot of fun building it! I myself hope to get my armor at the end of the year and therefor I am also searching for every guide and piece of advice I can find. Thanks to Mr. Vader I found "Daves Garage" at Youtube, but unfortunately all internet-streaming has no sound at my PC ( I tried everything, new Flashplayer, Java, and so on). Does anybody have a source for a direct download of "Daves Garage-Videos"? It does not make a lot of sense without sound ! Thanks a lot, many greetings Alex
  21. Hi, this set really looks awesome and I am very interested. The only thing I would miss is the "static burst". Would it be possible to incorpororate a RomFX? Or better, do you plan to offer a set, that is "pre-wired" and has the right size to fit the RomFX later on (instead of your built-in amplifier)? I mean, like a "Plug-and-Play" solution for the RomFX. By the way what are these two red buttons in the front for (switches for the fans I assume)? Greetings, Alex
  22. Hi, I would also be interested to know when they will be available and for what price. Thanks, Alex
