Thanks. I missed that. I hadn't thought about heat. It looks like getting fans in there might be tough. Elecs could go between it and the bucket I suppose. I think I'll keep looking.

I found a pair of pants at Modell's today. I think they are the right thing. I think they are for warmer weather, and were called "cycling" pants (but didn't have the padded crotch). They are single layer, shiny fabric that seem to fit skin tight. I couldn't see through them when I tried them on. They were marked $22, but had a small hole in them. Since they were the only pair left the manager gave them to be for $10. Does this sound like the right stuff? Now what do I do with them? Will velcro be stitched to them? I haven't placed the order for my FX suit yet, so I don't have instructions. I saw that the velcro is adhesive, but I can't see just sticking it to them would work.

That's a pretty good price, I think (even in US$). How hard are they to dye?

Would these work for a ANH TK? ------ Are Jodhpur's only made in women's sizes?

Why must she taunt me? I just ordered my MRCE (part one of this super cool journey), got the UPS confirmation with the expected delivery date of 23 Feb. I leave for a week long business trip in 23 FEB. So now my wife gets to spend most of the week wondering "What the heck did he buy now?" I wonder if UPS will get here before I need to leave for the airport...

A buddy of mine is getting married next month, and I suggested to his fiancee that she get him a TI helmet kit. The only one I've found so far is this one by star fortress ----------- In my reading so far, the general opinion seems to be to avoid star fortress. I think I can get him into trooping, so she should probably get something decent. Any suggestions?

Why would you paint the inside black?
