Hello, finally got my armor (well, a few months back) but it has a crack in the shoulder/chest area (split)... is there some sort of putty or something I can use? Until then its pretty unwearable (too obvious).

I think they used the standard shuttles too

I'm probably going to go with ATA (350 for armor with helmet), then start working on upgrades, etc

Yeah, I hope to hear something this week from both of them.

I think I'm going to lose out on the clone armor anyway since i don't have the funds til Friday, so I think I will go with ATA.

Right, I just want to get the large expensive parts out of the way first.

Now the kicker, where can I find ATA? On another note found ATIN Miller clone armor for 325.

My concern is knocking the big purchase (armor and bucket) out of the way 1st.

I only have about 400-500 for armor as well, I didnt know about ATA armor (just now googled it) but I inquired with Tupperware TK about FX Lite.

I am SERIOUSLY considering buying some FX armor.. what kind of skill is required to assemble/modify and what is the "average" time frame?

I bought Galaxies the first week it came out, but it didnt run on my PC then, I just started playing it in '06, and played it for a few months, now it sits on my shelf.. too bad, I did like it, but no one was online.

My brother wanted to give me all his TIE costume stuff, but I told him to keep it, that way he may get back into trooping again.

I forgot about TIE Fighter! I loved that old game!

I like Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 and Battlefronts 1 and 2. I had Dark Forces and Dark Forces 2 some time ago, don't remember much about them.

I like WWII stuff, and old military vehicles, got two pre-WWII 1935 Zundapp DB200 Light Reconaissance Motorcycles, and also own a 2005 Mustang V6, not much, but its an "oddity" in Europe.

I don't believe the gun was ever screen-used, but it was designed for the movie.

There's a guy from the MEPD that was selling them for 350-380 plus shipping/paypal fees, just the armor, no helmet, blaster, holster, undersuit, etc I am buying mine for 350 with the same stuff not included.

Lol, 8280, you know exactly what to say to cheer someone up... you are absolutely right!

I'm going with FX simply because I have no cash (Ungle Sugar doesn't pay an E4 all that good). It doesn't have the helmet, so I can get whatever one I desire. I heard that at 5'7" 160 lbs I will probably have a lot of problems with trimming it and such. I hope this is not the case, but I suppose I will plow through anyway, couldn't take nearly as long as my Snowtrooper armor would have (it was still in the plastic mold and unpainted/unprepped). I don't have the $$$ for the pricey suits yet, but my theory is, use the FX for a while until I can afford an upgrade, then upgrade. This site has been a great help so far, and I look forward to bugging you guys with questions down the road!

I might need a "walkthrough" of my FX armor when I get it... or I might just wait until I get back stateside... I'd rather order it now, but I only have 4 more months here.

What about black Neoprene gloves (shooting gloves or other types)? I found the non-gauntlet type of Deerskin riding gloves on Fox Creek's website as well.

I liked it, but didnt have a lot of resources to work with... the helmet was the hard part. Had a prop-maker buddy of mine create it and paint it for me... that friend moved away and I moved away, so I have to find new prop-maker friends where ever I PCS to.

Wow, wish I had that much dough at 15, lol I barely have it at 24! The Air Force don't pay THAT good for a measley Senior Airman!
