TK neck seal

No, I really need a wall and a hanger and you can keep your poll to yourself Serves me right I guess for not typing complete sentences. Yes, was asking if it was a complete suit or not. -
TK neck seal

Hang on a sec, are these just a shirt or the whole thing? -
Here may be a new one. When I open the site I don't have to log back on, but the site won't load. It will pop up with the TK and the Death Star in the background but nothing else. Weird!

Have seen these before on this fourm, looks very interesting. -
So, just where can a guy get a decent neck seal to fit a size 19?

BUMP What was the topic anyway?

Hey Jason! Can you really hear the speaker mounted like that? What I'm saying is, did you have to drill sound holes or anything? Kent, (Darth Stone Mountain Garrison)

I take it that you have a 3 piece helmet? I.e., dome, rear, and face? Before I would offer any detailed advice I would like to know more of what you are doing. Fiberglass can be heated to some degree to reshape large curves, but not small details. The biggest worry is how the piece was made. Normally a part is first laid up with a gel coat followed by the glass/resin reinforcement. Some novice 'glass makers skip a step of not sanding a cured gel coat before adding the glass. So when you heat this the danger is that the two can delimitate. If you use heat sparingly, say between 180 and 210 degrees Fahrenheit you should be able to reshape the piece quite nicely. I have over 25 years of professional experience working with fiberglass and would love to give you any help that I can.

DUH! OK, now I'm on the same page! Some ideas have come up, and yes sanding or even taking a grinder to the metal will improve adhesion. But what would be wrong with just using a few 1/4 X 20 bolts with lock washers?

At the risk of sounding stupid, I take it the use of. "TD" isn't for Sand Trooper? What are you glueing anyway?

ANH Deployment Standards ready for comment
Dirty White Boy replied to Daetrin's topic in Announcements
Whew! Dodged a bullet there. The TK projuct is taking much longer than I had first thought. It is a New Hope as said before and is really made for folks under 6'. Problem is I'm 6'4" and I am having to mod quite a bit. Even looking at having to re-vac a kidny plate. But this is not the thred to go into all of that. Thanks guys! -
ANH Deployment Standards ready for comment
Dirty White Boy replied to Daetrin's topic in Announcements
Have a quick question. I have an AP ANH lid that has been done in the Hero look. As I was ataching the ears I first only had the top and bottom screw holding them on. Then without thinking I added the third screw to hold them down better. In the standards it does not say how many for stunt or hero. So,. am I filling holes or not? -
My small helmet collection
Dirty White Boy replied to bobby fletcher's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Boozel, loved the pix of your boy in the Vader! But could I ask just one favor? Please ask him not to hold his light saber like that, he could cut off his toes for crying out loud! -
I thought thoes were made of a polyvinal? Have found extra abs at a used and unwanted apliance store. A dish washer had a white textured panel on the door, but the back side is smooth and glossy. Or if you like, try this website------

Sure. Having AOL, I had to go in and delete the temporary Internet cookies and this forum from my favorites. Then just logged back in. Had to redo passwords for other sites too but so far all is as it should be.

My biggest problem is that I have to erace the words "user name" and a bunch of dots in the password area every time. If I just click out, and then right back in again on the site I have to re log in. Nowhere is there an icon to save passwords. BUMP Found a problem with my web browser, got 'er fixed!
