Haha , I 've been there plenty times with the old DIY.I can stand looking at everyone elses blood and guts but when it comes to my own i suddenly feel faintuntil i tell myself to SUCK IT UP If i had a pound for everytime i stuck a stanley knife into my leg,scalpel into the palm of my hand etc,i would be a very rich man I think it would be a good idea if you handed the blaster over to me for safekeeping as you obviously cant be trusted with sharp objects ..................oh and whilst you are at it you might aswell give me that nice shiny white suit to look after,all those sharp corners are just a bloodbath waiting to happen

aw man, im jelous now,looks absolutely awesome,once thats attached and a couple of other bits of fine tuning that sould be you ready for paint. sould have given me a phone i would have taken u up to the hospital in my mee maw .

cheers billy, all is forgiven,i appreciate everyones comments .Thankfully this was a very quick fix and got me out of doing the dishes .I still think though billy a nice apology would be to buy me a pint after our first troop together.

Scott , I understand,i suppose its an easy fix anyway.I couldnt find the sizes for a nickel so i took the loose change out of my pocket and offered it up against the circle that is on the square on the middle of the belt and found out that a 1p piece is roughly the same size.I did as you mentioned trace round the coin in ABS ,cut it and sanded it to smooth the circle out.I have E6000 glued the two circles into place so the could be removed easily if i need into the rivets. here are the pics with flash without flash hope thats ok

Billy, I have just looked through the base and stunt elite standard requirements and i cant find any mention of the no rivets showing on the plastic part of the belt,the only mention of no rivets showing is on the shoulder straps.If that is the case though do you have any recomendations.I thought about the small plastic screw head caps they sell in B &Q,or would they be too small.

Great find terry, lovin the pics of the storm/clone trooper pit crew and the pit person that refuels dressed as vader,even the refulling pipe looked like a lightsaber.Feel sorry for chewy and vader though standing in costume on the starting grid when everyone around them is wearing shorts and t shirts. Wonder how much all that cost

As promised i have just returned from the dressing room with some new photos of the updated pieces of armor.Firstly the elastc straps on the arm pieces. and better pics of the kidney /butt plate split just the blaster to post up when it comes back from justin

Thank you scott, I will update the pics for the blaster when it comes back from justin prob in about 2 to 3 weeks.I will update the pics for the back split and the elastic on the shoulder bells as i have redone them tomorrow evening. Keep watching

Cheers billy, aye i corrected myself in the previous post i said scope originally but i really meant sight.I have spoken to justin and he has modified the mould for the front site since i bought mine 2 years ago and said to me he would remove the D ring and fit the new site and give its paint a touch up as he painted it originally and its a bit of a special paint job.I am just wanting to check with scott that the new sight would be clearable (although not a good angle of the site in the pic).I have already posted the gun back to justin but if scott says the new sight isnt clearable i will pester Aaron for one of his and post it on to justin to fit and paint.

Hi Scott, Im sorry i got mixed up when i said about the scope i actually meant the sight ,so would the new front site and removal of side D ring be acceptable

Hi Scott, I recieved my Tk nuber through today (TK 7515),i also spoke to justn at itchynuts design who is the maker of the blaster and the only thing outwith my control.he has sent me some pics of his blasters with updated parts on ,my blaster is 2 years old and since then he has updated almost all the parts on it to make it more screen accurate.Have a look at the scope and let me know if this one would be acceptable for elite

cheers thayne, you have a very keen eye as the elastic on the biceps was also pointed out by the UKG XO.It will get sorted this weekend along with some padding under the shoulder bells

Hi all, i have just this evenig had my suit cleared by the XO of the UKG and am over the moon so to contiue the good news i am applying for ANH stunt elite status,im not sure if i am beig too quick as i dont have my TK number yet but as i have been cleared i thought i would give it a shot . The suit is an fx,the belt is canvas from firebldejedi,the E 11 is a scratch build form itchynuts on the UKG forum,the ab buttons are from vaderdave,the handplates are more accurate ones from john danter on the UKG,the TD is from bfa on the UKG.the helmet is an AP with stomper hovis with speakers ,the stripes are from trooper decals,the lenses are 3mm thick green acrylic lenses,all the other decals on the helmet have been handpainted by myself here goes with the pics boots CA boots bodysuit E 11 with scope,d ring and hengstler canvas belt holster neckseal thermal detonator hovis helmet frown

Mate , mucho kudos , i canny wait to see it with my own eyes.hope the hengstler comes soon

Hi Jeremy, Thanks for the kind comments.Yeah i know what you mean,i have a small head and after owning 8 different buckets i finally found the perfect one thanks to firebladejedi who kindly sent me some measurements of his AP.All the padding and battery boxes are stuck on with velcro which means i can move the parts around if need be and really the only 2 parts that are in the main part of the helmet is one of the fans and a 9v battery all the rest of the parts are tucked under the recess's which is all wasted space. Also the way i have all the parts it means the helmet is evenly weighted
