Thank you very much! On the most pictures of new builded power cylinder I found, the "Metalmite" capacitors are solderd together on the chassis with the side of the red cap. The pictures from Michael Washko from the "Power Cylinders Resource", showing the capaitors unpainted, made me think about it. But your argument is absolutly plausible!

Could anyone please give me a hint, why the center capacitors solderd with the red end to the metal of the frame? As an electrician I would believe that the black end (cathode) is connected with the ground of the case.
