Any suggestion on how to keep my thigh harness belt from slipping down when I breathe? Should I consider suspenders?

I didn't like how my forearms hung with 1" elastic. So I glued 2" nylon with snaps for the bells.

My power went out as soon as I suited up but I got a lot done today. Belt finished (I loved[mention=33204]fn1313[/mention] 's use of Chicago screws). Also finished the ammo pack on thigh. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

Ok, first partial kit up because I want to see how my thighs look. I'm using a belt with 2" nylon and velcro inside the thighs and on the end of the nylon for adjustment up and down. Once it's good I may change it to a snap-type system with the belt. At the moment I don't have any rear shots because the other half is still at work. once she's home, which is why I'm not wearing my boots! I couldn't get them on! I'll suit up again for some rear shots. Also, I've got the wrong size double cap rivets, so my ammo pack isn't ready. Any input on this would be wonderful! Jeez, you wonder if I'm from Memphis, TN. with Elvis whiskey in the background!

Did you notice that the 2 belt pieces in DDD armor kit looked slightly different? One seemed to have longer boxes on the raised part to my eye. Mind you, I haven't checked out with a ruler. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

Slowly pull the pieces apart. Once done rub your finger over the glue, back and forth. I would suggest gloves, because the fiction will hurt your fingers if you have to rub them vigorously across the glue. I also use citrus Goo gone gel. Fixing stuff that's wrong seems to be what I do a lot of on my build.

So I noticed in test fitting that my elastic strapping was pulling the 2 pieces ( ab and kidney) together. So I elected to make a tab that will keep me aligned. I also went ahead and painted it black to match my undersuit. Also, on a side note, I'm not a fan of abs snap plates! I had one already pull off from the stress of the elastic strap, so from now on I'm using elastic snap plates like I did on my arms for the rest of the build and will probably be changing out all of the ABS snap plates. In the last photo you can see I drill out the kidney plate instead of the Ab plate for the Han snap and had to readjust. Right now I'm debating between using Abs paste or white sugru. I'm leaning towards white sugru.

I'm no D.O. but I believe your thighs should be above the knee, with the exception of the ammo belt thigh which I think is an inch higher. I'm having issues with trimming my thighs, but it looks like you're close. Listen to Kyle, he's right to do a little at a time. I'm trying to get my butt plate, Kidney, and abdomen put together so I can see how the trim lines on my thighs need to be.

Can't wait to get approved so you can work your magic on my banner! I'm already excited and not even official yet.

Off subject, but not really, You can make hella good fish sticks with crushed cheez-its. I'm just saying...
