  2. I'm no expert, but it looks like your biceps need to rotate inwards 90 degrees Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
  3. Question, I haven't seen this brought up anywhere but, I shattered my elbow back in my early 20's and can no longer bend my left straight. as you can see in the photos looks like the right arm needs trimming at the top of the forearm in the back. how should I compensate the gap between forearm and bicep? Is this going to be an issue when it comes to approval?
  4. 1 inch elastic seemed kind of janky so I went with 2 in nylon, glued to the forearm and double-snapped to the bicep.
  5. Just curious I used 2-inch nylon to connect my forearm to my biceps. What did you use?
  6. It was 3:30 am, but yeah he responded.
  7. I must know more about finger switches. I've got 1 push to talk that came with @ukswrath . Are you talking about multiple switches? Do you just toggle through the sound bite phrases not knowing what's next? Or do you have a playlist that's memorized? Or one finger switch per phrase?
  8. Got some good input from Dave (DD) First advice he told me is my Kidney plate is upside down. So a redo oh my snap plates is in order.
  9. Does the kidney plate get trimmed down to match the ab plate?
  10. I made so good progress tonight. Got V tabs done. Elastic strapping done from Butt plate to Kidney plate. Got my side rivets marked out for drilling. Elastic hook for my shoulder bells. Reshaped to the lower part of my shoulder bells in a hot water bath. I'm not too sure how I feel about snap plates. I made some elastic ones but my wife is asleep, so no snap setting tonight. Just waiting on the glue to dry so I can get back to it! All this typing, now shes up
  11. Friction and Goo Gone.
  12. Oh my gosh. My thumbs were bleeding from rubbing off E6000! Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
  13. hence the double ;layer of plastic from my first picture. I like the heating idea and will try it after I take the wife on a bike ride.
  14. Thank you! Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
  15. I did use the male end for the post which is flush . Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
  16. Snap plate time and I've already got a question. after setting the snap the abs is curved. Do I need to flare this out more with another layer of abs? The plate doesn't sit flush because of the snap.
  17. Y'all, I'm struggling on determining trim lines on my thighs. the only way I can think of to help is to get the Ab, Kidney, and butt plate done so I can see how it all lines up with the thighs. I've been at a standstill on this. On a positive note, Dave sent me a new set of ears and my helmet fan kit so I got to finish that at least! Mind you, I've got some clean up on the paint for the ears, I'm letting them dry. And I love making my wife giggle
  18. First word of advice. Use E6000 glue. Cause you will make mistakes! Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
  19. Painter's tape ftw!
  20. I see now, thank you.
  21. So the gap and strapping here always looked a lot shorter than what I'm seeing here. Or is it that I've never seen armor in person before?
