  1. Your best choice, price wise, is a ATA kit and TM hero helmet. More info in the "getting started" section
  2. To Juan listen you must! What's aiming practice? We're already to best of the best!
  3. fair enough! yeah, they'd be a big seller around here. Most of can't do metal work
  4. So, this will be the first metal build of Lucas' plans! Awesome!
  5. Better go with ZeroRooms's plans, which are the most correcxt available! http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=18232#entry218477
  6. You might want to look into the "bigger" armor like RT-MOD or AM. But be prepared to do some shimming! We've seen bigger troopers in the past whose armors became them well
  7. Yeah, we're all clean and white here!
  8. I wasn't either [drum roll] when I was your age! Enjoy your day! You're having a big party next weekend?
  9. Either way, you wil have to trim it. Most armors come with extra space for "bigger" troopers. Pics help a lot. We're all quite visual here
  10. Isn't that what celebrating b-day is all about?
  11. There is a list in the "getting started" section of vetted vendors
  12. I always thought Eric is too lazy to calculate time zones
  13. I didn't know they celebrated birthday in "Sweden"! Happy birthday, kid! It seems to my like yesterday you started your first build! Look, how much you've grown! Here's the only swedish celebrating song I know! Translation: The whole goes Sing "hup fol-de-rol la la la la" The whole goes Sing "hup fol-de-rol la la" And the one who doesn't take the whole Doesn't get the half either The whole goes [Drink] Sing "hup fol-de-rol la la"
  14. Indeed, "Butt join" is another name for "overlapping (strips). I just don't like the word "butt"
  15. There are lots of threads on how to trim your armor to your size. Do some reading. A heat gun is a bad idea and def not the right way To give you some starters: look for overlap and covering strip method
  16. Geat attitude! You'll certainly get approved with your armor! Enjoy your moment!
  17. Right. Kevin, I love that smile on your face, You must be happy and proud of your armor! If you feel the need to get more out of it and improve it, we're here to help! [Hatchet burying mode on]
  18. No negative emotions, but HONESTY and TRUTHFULLNESS. WTH do you sense negative emotions, Master Yoda?
  19. Nice of you to edit your post after my comment! Your "Pro AP" and "Pro AA" attitude is sometimes a little over the top! It is a decent built, but there are some things to improve! You don't have to be a fashion designer to tell if a shirt doesn't fit the wearer! I'm sure Kevin paid some decent cash to have the armor fitted for him, but there's "room" for improvement!
  20. Vern, please stop spreading bulls***! In all friendship! Peace! But please, stop.
  21. Actually, they "tailored" the extras to fit in armor. If you didn't fit the armor, the next Joe was called in.
  22. Why PMs? I think we all want to read about your pieces of advice!
  23. But those "old" members educated some decent "apprentices" If it were'nt for those purists, prop replicator, accurazis, etc we'd still have 90ies FX armors with black buttons, bubble heads, wrong boots, hard plastic hand guards, etc...
  24. Jesse, we're talking about HERO helmets RS don't make HERO ones.
