Ok. This seems to work. Some little things have to be done. T-Tracks and the scope. But for now I'm quite happy with my first build. Which took me around a week.

Yeah. It's glossy Hammerschlag. Too glossy. I'm already painting it matt black. Compared to the ANH blaster, this one will be all black. Just the bolt will get another colour. Btw. inserting pictures from Imgur doesn't work for me.

Almost ready for final paint. The fool as I am, I didn't buy the right black.

While waiting for my R1 armor, I felt a little bored. So I ordered a complete Kit from T- Jay, including his completion kit. It arrived just one day later ( we both were a little surprised) Along the build I always checked References and his blaster build. Unfortunately the Doopydoos kit is not 100% suitable for the R1 blaster. I had to improvise. But the grip is complete off. Anyways, I made changes where it was possible. All fotos can be seen Here. I was that busy, that I only took pictures on the way and didn't post it. But now I'm nearly ready to paint and weather . Feel free to comment and maybe critic

Hi Justin. Great work. The Armor looks very good. I ordered my 850 Armor Works Kit and can`t wait for BBB day. May I ask you for some Pics of the Strapping? Especially the Strapping of the Cod and Butt. Where did you attach the Strapping of the Shoulderbell/Biceps and what did you use? How wide are the Straps that hold the Tighs? Thanks in advance

Hi Tino, I first registered to the german forum and thought it can´t be wrong to register here also. You´re right, information about R1TK are quite little. But I will go for it. Once set in mind. Meanwhile I know a lot about the ANH TK My list of tools and other things needed is growing daily. Thanks to online shopping, things keep coming in, too. The tension grows.

Hi Guys, thanks for your welcomes. Currently I´m sorting out where to get my soft parts and other stuff needed. Not quite easy for a noobie to this. I always thought, my english isn´t that bad, but now I realize it´s not really the yellow of the egg. But giving up is no option.

Belated happy new year to all of you. I´m Andreas from good ol´ germany. Being a Star Wars fan for so many years, I finally decided to build my own Armor. I will try to become a R1 TK following the 501st Standards. Since I began researching Infos about buying, building and so on, there´s not much time left for anything else :)) It´s quite time consuming but also interresting and exciting to follow WIPs and Videos on YT. I finally bought a TK Kit from 850 Armor Works. Until BBB day I will continue gathering Infos as much as possible. That´s all so far.
