The elastic loop at the shoe top is hidden by your shin pieces. (some TKs here add velcro to them to "pin" the shin down by connecting them

That "weathering" was some leftover from troop #3. didnt notice that before the meetup where i took the pics. had no cleaning supplies at hand there. Mud drops are removed now though (removed em when i took the 3 detail pics you requested at tuesday)

Now the waiting game starts. I'm sure you scratch each passed day off your calendar until the BBB is enroute via UPS. Tip: register for UPS MyChoice so you can reroute the parcel to a pickup store if you aren't at home at the delivery day.

RS is on the vetted sellers list here. There are a few members (like me) that went the commission route...

Thanks. Massively intimidated by the ferocity of accuracy with this build but to be honest my biggest struggle is sourcing bits n pieces in the UK..do you guys have like a secret stash of snaps and poppers and screws somewhere
Maybe poke around the Ongoing sales section. There are a few members selling those components.
Also worth to check out the "getting started" section and especially thios thread:
(you got 2 very good sources of armor in the UK btw)

DEFINITELY! Most of the time the public just sees white armor, and since the differences can be subtle to the "untrained" eye they rarely notice them. BUT, as Tom mentioned, once you are familiar with the various types of armor the differences will stand out. If ESB is your favorite choice, I for one say follow that gut feeling and you can't go wrong!
One thing I would strongly suggest is that you not only look over some of the build threads here, but start your own. This way, you can ask all the questions you may have (and there will be lots) and post up photos. Posting photos is very important, and I can't stress that enough. You can not only show off your progress, but if you have an issue we can better give you more precise information on how to remedy it. It takes a little extra time, but trust me on this one.
We are here to help every step of the way.
You even manage to spot wardrobe malfunctions in the movies itself. (ESB got 3 that i know of, one must have been a bracket that failed at the AB plate)

I'm a ROTJ and honestly its quite rare that anyone from the public ever notices. And the ROTJ differences are far more pronounced than the ESB.

But once you crossed into the 501st or cosplay territory and learned the details you cannot unsee that. your vision gets recalibrated massively once you end up on forums like this. One year ago stormtroopers were all the same for me, too.

I need to do some more research, what it this "green" plastic?
And for $650 I could get another kit... :-)
I'm sure these are amazing. I hope all that want one get one.
The "real" ANH Stunts weren't made out of white ABS but instead out of that weird green HDPE. They were painted then. That we here use white ABS is a durability and usability optimization to prevent paint flaking off and messing up the armor.

Did you have any issues getting it approved, I am buying mine from there also.
HE got approved, otherwise he wouldn't appear as 501st TK (the green text below his profile pic). If you got the measurements right it should work out for you, too

'According to the case docs it runs thru ADR atm. https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/15719420/richard-dalton-v-anovos-productions-llc/ . document 71 and 72 are the latest update there from mid-june. I keep my eyes om it even though i wom't get anything if they are getting hammered due to wrong side of the pond. I wonder what happens at the ADR if it happens....

Already ordered, too. Some imperial spies were faster on linking it here than you funnily

Did you try to ask RS directly on the button color already?

Good choice on RS. german member here. Got in after a loop due to a suitup error (biceps decided to move while suitup and the detonator wasnt seated fully). Otherwise a straight pass...

I've seen armor, helmets, and E-11s on Etsy. Has any one made a purchase for costuming supplies on Etsy? Any sellers you recommend, or can tell me to stay away from?
Read the following 2 threads:
There are enough sources that are problematic on etsy.

Funny crisscross between the galaxies (wondering how those ideas are spawning...)
Also: probably using a boba bucket as base, the dent is visible at top right corner of the USPS eagle square
