Thank you! That video was very helpful. Does anyone else have any feedback on my bicep and forearm pieces? I just wanted to verify before I proceed with marking my final cuts.

They look good to me. It would be great If you can post a photo when you have made the marks before cutting . just in case. :salute:

Just re reading the Lvl 3 stuff on the CRL, what exactly is the butt joint method?  I couldn't find anything concrete that matched that terminology when browsing through threads.  Just want to clarify what that is before I commit to final assembly!

As Daniel explained, for example you have the bicep two halves, the cover strip allow them to join.

Teeth folks! let's pick my teeth! fAORl8D.jpgg03FpP4.jpglzbKUNL.jpghT1bzIL.jpg I apologize for  not having them perfect. I'm no painter.

Great work with your helmet , and great paint job with that vocoder sir.

You can improve the teeth paint job by refining the edges as the crl  states: Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area.

Definitely trimmed off a bit too much on the face plate edges where for where the ears would get bolted.  There's a real visible ugly gap.

You could use a piece os ABS plastic glued back the face section ( filled with abs paste as well) where the ear is going to be placed, perhaps it covers and can't be seen .

    Hello Ernesto, welcome to FISD.

That armor looks like an FX. The CRl indicates that at least the helmet is NOT approved for any level, that is, you would have to change it. And the FX armor requires quite a bit of work to make it passable for entry level. I am looking for information on the necessary changes and I add them here.

You can see the different armors in the following link.

  7. Before we can start your review , we need you to make a couple of fixes to your armor:

1-   As per the CRL for L2: "Clips shall be attached with slotted type, flat or dome top style screws, and be black (two per clip).
V head screws are not permitted."

Your looks to be V head screws and you will need to change them.

                                                                                                                               References

2- CRL L2: " Thigh ammo belt is attached to thigh with a solid head rivet, painted white, in the upper corner and fastened to the lower thigh ridge.
The rivets used shall be single cap, double cap or split rivets. No pop rivets allowed.
Rivet should be approximately 5/16" (8mm) in diameter (exterior).

It looks like yours are " Chicago Screw "  and will need to change to the Double or single cap ones.
