@Alay Yeah, We all had them on, Still had one trooper take a nasty spill. Would have been much worse with out them. Yes I'm the one with the strap across the tops of my boots =P Also I been there with the heat, Iraq tends to get pretty warm in the summer =P

It's my hope that this post will reach other Vets that are out there wondering about Joining the 501st and have PTSD / Anxiety issues. I had my 1st troop the other day. My wife came to be my spotter and get suited up. I'm not gonna lie, excitement and anxiety was kicking my @$$. We got suited up and headed to where we were doing the photo shoot. Mind you I was not expecting the amount of people that were going to show up there or be in the Venue after we came in. (Roughly 500 per 30 min if I remember correctly) we were in there for about 2 and 1/2 Hours taking photos of the 20 of us in Armor against the Icy back drops of the park we were in. Not to mention the 100's of others that we took with people. I will say that it's the largest crowd that I have been in the past decade, with ZERO Heighten alertness going off and almost no Anxiety (Except for falling and busting my 4th point of contact on the ice.) There is something about the anonymity that you get looking through green lenses and your head in the bucket. I cannot tell you how rewarding of an experience this was for me. To be able to get out in public and not feel that crushing anxiety and have your body go in to overdrive. If you are a Vet and are wondering about getting a shiny white white suit, 2 words DO IT!!!!!

I'd almost say I could get away with cutting the bottom edge off and moving the snaps up Oh wow, yeah looking at that pic I'm definitely going to be able to get away with trimming it down and moving the snaps -

I'm almost wondering if I cut the Cod shorter and trim some off ab to bring it closer up will resolve this, I have like an inch or so clearance between strap and body (Or strap to taint clearance ) -

this edge on the Butt plate was digging in to the insides of my inner thighs -
Yeah couldn't get in there without my face on em I think the biggest thing I wanted to add was that speed controller,
-
@ukswrath I kinda tweaked your stuff a little =) Speed controller and Larger but flatter fans, But your wiring game is much more on point than mine is
-
As promised my bucket Yes thats @ukswrath Fand and Audio set up with a few tweaks, 12V Speed controller added and lower profile fans Gasket selent to keep the lenses in place And a chin strap
-
@Harbinger I was actually thinking about flex sealing mine this afternoon lol
-
@CableGuy Very nice, clean set up. Ive got something similar (Pic to follow) but no where as clean
-
So, I have been surfing the forums and found everything from just a chin strap to the whole electronics and fans set up. I am always looking to find better ways to set mine up, So with that lets see the insides of your bucket.

Lorelei's 5'4" ATA ANH-S Centurion-Hopeful Build

Don't let them hate on the low brow peeps -
@justjoseph63 So my problem is not the upper part of the shin but down around my ankles, I trimmed another 1/4" to 1/2" out of the bottom of them and changed the shape a little to conform to the boot a bit better, seems to be working,
-
The issue I am having is that (at some point) Im going to have to shim the bottoms of the calfs, I cut them a lil tight, I also trimmed a little more off the calves and it seems to have fixed the problem, I've also added foam to the thighs which helped a bit. Although I have a bit of Armor bite in the Cod region, so there might be some trimming in my future there

@TheSwede What do you think shorten calves or thighs?
-
Annnnnnddddd the shoulder is still off. @sharkbait Still adding foam, Might shorten the shins some more, Not real happy with how they are lining up at this point
-
Ok, Sumbitted all my stuff, here are some of the retakes. Front Back left Right Bucket Off
-
At some point I might trim a 1/2 off the cod and Ab plate........
