At least I’m glad I chose to have a helmet made with my kit from Jim. Would have been bucketless otherwise.

Looking forward to it. I've got his V5 kit on order so there will be slight differences, but I did enjoy seeing someone who's on their first build like I am with one of these.

Yeah, It's definitely making things look troubling. There are a number of US based suppliers who are selling at cheaper, and even Jim's kits are cheaper with fastest shipping. I will give Anovos this, they look pretty and they've got the Disney/Lucasfilm tag. $900 for a full kit isn't too far off from what I've seen with other vendors and after all is said and done, my armor will be well over that $1100 limit, however I was previously on order with Anovos and my armor upgrades I was getting from other suppliers was putting it above that much. The armor kit alone with helmet is going to cost me cheaper (shipping aside). This also brings to question shipping, I suspect it's probably going to be cheaper within the USA, but yeah. It's interesting to not that. I don't think it's going to be last hurrah though only because their original intention was to offer kits cheap at first and then build price as they became more popular. Problem is I fear that this will drive buyers away as they are currently aware of the flaws with Anovos in shipping times and all. Why pay that much for slow goods and services if you could actually get it faster elsewhere potentially cheaper? I think all vendors deserve support though at their prices, so as long as Anovos get's it's shipping and manufacturing up to par, this will be a reasonable source of armor. It's all contingent on their wait times though.

Their Shadow Trooper that is now out of future production increased from a $450 kit to $1100 kit as "last hurrah" attempt to sale. So far as I know Liquidation should be cheaper to sale. lol. Hoping this is true and everyone else get's theirs soon. I've refunded and am going through Jim at this point. But still have a helmet on order through Anovos.

Well, after a number of changes, trip-ups and other things, I've ended up getting refunds and now have decided and ordered my armor and bucket from Jimmiroquai. I'm going to create a new build thread more specific to this where I can keep things specifically a "Build" thread for the Jimmiroquai armor. I will attach a link to the new thread here though. Hey everyone, As I noted in my Anovos build thread, I've decided to get a refund from Anovos and prefer to put my money with Jimmi as his kit will better fit me and most likely arrive sooner. So starting a new thread for this specifically I will keep this one specific to the build and not so much to general chatter. Will also most likely purchase some shiny biker shorts from Geeky Pinks as well. Hopefully with this build I will get the components sooner and be able to provide another build thread for this. I just cancelled my Anovos FOTK and went with KB Props. My biggest reason is guys in my garrison told me the Anovos armor isn’t very sizable to anything but guys who are fairly thin. So if you have any girth, large arms, legs etc. it’s probably not going to fit well. Also they are slow. They currently promised delivery on these kits since March 20, 2018 and none of us have seen any movement (this is one of many delays they’ve had)

Well it’s decided. I cancelled my Anovos armor kit. I found that they aren’t forgiving enough for my body build. So I’m probably going to go either KB Props pet-g armor or Jim Tripon. that being said I need the belt and pouches. What are the best recommendations?

Just got my Gaskets, harness, and Neck Seal from Geeky Pinks and wow! I'm so glad everyone convinced me to do so. They are absolutely amazing in quality and comfort! @Soulartthank you so much for your service! I can't wait to get my armor and get going with this!

I wasn’t liking the twisty leds in the f-11d because they don’t exist on the screen and I wanted to have the blaster look like it can be turned on and off. So I took to building new internal electronics. thanks to radio shack and some odd shaped drill bits I now have some finished electronics for this blaster.
