  1. Correct no undersuit or neck seal. That being said if the gaskets are rubber like the original suits you’re going to die of heat. I went with Geeky Pink’s gaskets, neck seal, and harness.

  3. Last steps of my blasters were the following 1. Holster Screws...done 2. Magnets to hold the boxes on the F-11D...done. https://imgur.com/a/Aayld 3. Electronics for F-11D...cables, LEDs, resistors. Just need solder tools and a usb battery pack that will fit in the blaster then to drilling the space out and putting that together. Dan’s holster came in and it’s awesome! Going to get it painted and ready for mounting to the armor. Then from here it’s just waiting.
  4. Thanks! I'd say for a first time messing with 3D printed designs and getting them more screen accurate it turned out well. I purchased some heavy duty fabric tape off amazon and used it for the grips on the F11-d as well. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07456SBM4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Makes for a nice feel on the grips and should hold pretty strong. The last bits I'm going to do in finishing this will be getting internal electronics to put in place. I'm thinking of building my own LED light electronics that will use a USB battery pack for power. Then I'm getting a few magnets to hold the side boxes in place. This way I can better access the lights should there need be maintenance. The SE-44c still has the plastic "fake" bolts for the holster. Once I get my holster order in from Dan (see below) I will saw those off and screw the holster hardware in place instead. We're getting there. Now just the waiting parts.
  5. That guest post was actually me lol.
  6. Finished SE-44c. I added real toed screws for detail instead of the 3d printed screws. https://imgur.com/gallery/m5PgJ
  7. White paint down. Black paint tomorrow. https://imgur.com/gallery/GS5Tj
  8. Just finished the wet sand of the filler and primer. Here’s the SE-44c https://imgur.com/gallery/jQGKZ F11-D to come after drying.
  9. First spray down with some automotive primer. Most likely going to get another can and throw a second coat on. https://imgur.com/gallery/4LCLC
  10. https://imgur.com/a/FkPSS now to spray with sandable primer to get it all filled in and smooth. Then I’ve got some automotive paint for the finish. Rustoleum brand. Satin white and Matte Black. will gather photos going forward.
  11. Yeah just did that. Link for the images is active. Post sanding images coming.
  12. Looks like photobucket wants me to pay money. Any better way to put them on here without paying tons?
  13. Just ordered my Boots and gloves from imperialboots.com I also ran across this in another forum I'm going to put here for future reference as well. I think it will be something I do with my helmet liner: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JDQ3P18/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  14. I got my F11-D and SE-44C they are really great quality for the price. I’m going to be sanding down the 3D print lines though and doing some repainting afterward so I can get them even closer to screen quality. But based on what I’m seeing of pricing for other options it’s going to be the best option unless you jump to a $400 ready made resin blaster of sorts.
  15. Link to images of the F11-D and SE-44c prior to sanding. https://imgur.com/gallery/uUeq0
  16. Just got my F11-D and SE-44C from Heston Solutions on Etsy. Quick review, For 3D printed material and the price they are fantastic. That being said, there are definitely the expected things with 3D printing such as need to sand down rough edges, not as precise in details, not as screen accurate. I would also venture to say that these blasters aren't the most accurate on Etsy at this time. However price considering they are much more cost effective than the Resin blasters fully finished. This set ran me $150 on sale, where the Resin blasters run $400-$500 I've seen for the F11-D alone. I'm going to try sanding them down a bit, but suspect down the road i will be upgrading to more screen accurate blasters. I'm hoping I can at least troop with these for the mean time.
  17. Yeah I ended up changing my mind after reading and hearing about the original gaskets. I've got an order for gaskets, neckseal, and harness from Geeky Pinks Phantastic Gaskets.
  18. Luckily gaskets come with the Anovos kit. So I will see how those are first. But all this info is great! Thanks!
  19. Yeah that’s what I thought this neck seal didn’t look 11 rib. I did like the magnet idea. I’d do Anovos but the size I suspect I need is not available. I heard from Geeky Pinks the recommendation of under armor compression gear and then shiny biker compressions shorts on top. I’m looking into that as well.
  20. Looking at neck seals and under suits. What are the opinions/recommendations. I saw stormtrooperundersuits.com and liked the undersuit, not sure about neckseal though. https://www.stormtrooperundersuit.com/star-wars-stormtrooper-first-order-magnetic-neck-seal.html
  21. Also to note I’m building a kit for TLJ, small mods from what I see with the codpiece and two grey paint spots on forearms. I also have the TLJ helmet on order from Anovos and it is scheduled to ship in the same window.
  22. Really hoping this is final and that BBB comes through. I was late, so probably won’t get it in early waves of shipments.
  23. I’ve got a blaster set on order from Etsy. Seems good quality. I will see how it is and if any mods are needed once I get it. Here is the page: https://www.etsy.com/listing/537606855/f-11d-se-44c-blaster-combo?ref=shop_home_active_3 I will get my gloves and boots from imperialboots.com with their next wave opening in March. Probably looking at getting the neck seal from Geeky Pinks Phantastic Gaskets (Facebook) Still investigating undersuit options.
  24. Now that Anovos looks to get their armor shipping out I’m going to be detailing my build thread here.
  25. Let’s hope there’s no return of the money. Followed by the debt awakens and the last penny.
