Suspend's Doopydoo's E11 (with T-Jay's Kit + Suitcase Props) Build
BaneLives85 replied to Suspend's topic in ANH BlasTech E11
I didn't really create a bolt for mine, just kept the inner tube sliding right up to the nozzle as you say Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk -
A few reference pics from my build which might help. Thing I did the bendy end first then the rear sight end. Also, be careful how long the bendy end is. Mine was too long first time round and it blocks the inner tube. Then I chopped it down too much and it wouldn't hook and stay in, had to glue it in the end! Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

I mounted the larger lens straight into the scope, housing included, with the reticle attached at the smaller end (you can just about make out the reticle in the second picture). Smaller lens I removed from the housing, and mounted with the curved end facing outwards. I made a bit of a messy job gluing the smaller lens in unfortunately Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

Liking the work on the Ttrack holes, really adds a nice dimension to it! Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk -

So is the second pin you've got in there to stop the trigger going too far back? If so, do you need it? I had very similar issues with the trigger, but didn't have a pin controlling the distance, so when I shaved the back off, this allowed the trigger to be compressed further, and i chopped the top off (the pivot part) to allow more room between the trigger and the guard One of the good things I found about a blaster build is you always have the green stuff to come to the rescue if things go pear shaped! Yup, I had to do what T-Jay mentions, shaved a bit off the back of the trigger itself. Worked a treat! You can also deepen the hole the trigger sinks into, though personally I'd take some off the trigger first and see how it goes I also used the Doopies trigger guard, but found that it got in the way of the trigger a bit. Taking a bit of height off the trigger helped for that Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk -

I know right! I thought maybe I just wasn't looking hard enough, but seems they're generally very expensive. Happy with this case though, wouldn't have been as good if I made my own as planned I think haha Good to hear from you Tino, had a lot of people asking about your mod kits lately, I'm sending them all your way! Sure is! Had a bit of extra room so was finding things to fill the space haha. It's actually got loops for a padlock/luggage lock too, can't believe it was only £35. From what I found online, large chunks of black foam at the required size would have cost about £20! Crazy! You can get upholstery foam cheaper, but it's baby blue, not exactly fitting with the Empire's colour scheme lol Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk -

So, I was making my own carry case (and will probably use the box for something else) but it turned out that the foam to fill it was surprisingly expensive. On the other hand, I did come across a £35 aluminium flight case (foam included), couldn't resist! Just finished cutting out all the shapes using a modellers scalpel, 4 hours it took! Surprisingly long work. Happy with the results though Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk -
Haha seems like it doesn't believe you when you react to things. Maybe try being more convincing? Lol Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

Inner bolt done! Gives a lot more stability to the charging handle... although the spring is fairly tough anyway so I don't think I'll be using it haha Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk -

Forgot to mention, also working on a case. Got a plastic tube today with suitable dimensions. Was clear plastic but I'm gonna spray it matt black. Just need to find some thick foam for the inside, had a look while out today but no luck Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk -

Ok, so the grace period after finishing the blaster has ended, and I'm now making some extra improvements haha Not sure what this part is called, but it's the part that the spring in the inner tube wraps around. I didn't have anything here before, so the charging handle had rubbish stability as it was just glued on and with a nail going into the hollow inner tube. I've seen some people use marker pens for this part; I managed to get some wood, 18mm diameter, to slot into place. I've just cut it down to size, sanded it, and starting on the paintwork. Hopefully with this set into the inner tube, then the nail from the charging handle set into the wood, it should have much greater stability Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk -

Thanks for the kind words Tino! Certainly do feel quite proud, especially as it was my first build and I'm not the most skilled builder haha Now that you mention it, I do have some of the ABS left... I suppose I would just use the pictures for a reference to make the magazine clip? I also need to stabilise the handle on the inner tube, it's precariously glued on at the moment, and I'm too scared to try it out haha. I think I'll go through my armour build first before making the extra blaster adjustments, can't bring myself to start taking it apart since I've only just put it together lol. Will also shave a bit off the selector switch so the stock clears when unfolding. But for now, I'm just going to enjoy it! Thanks all! Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk -

Haha that would definitely be easier! Yeh i decided to leave that out. I've got a little Alu left myself, might be too thick though actually as it's 2mm. From other posts I've seen some people sculpt the clip from green stuff. I'd imagine it would be easier than using alu, and you wouldn't know any different once painted.. It's def a shame about apex tho. If you're really keen on it tho, maybe see if you've a friend in the states who could help out by ordering it and sending it on to you. Someone on here might even be willing to help if you put the word out Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
