  1. Blaster has been finished, used a lot of different parts to create an accurate but "durable" or "fixable" trooping blaster.

  2. Here we go again.

After dry fitting the WTF kit to my frame (6'1" 195 pounds) I was not happy with the fit (too much under-suit showing). So, after following Sean and his build of both (WTF and AM) I decided that the AM would be a better fit. Lots of tips and tricks were learned, so I have a little more confidence in this build. My WTF armor will go to my wife after I finish this kit. The family that troops together, something something something...

Just got the tracking number, so now the BBB day is fast approaching.

After some hot water bath and a heat gun I think this is about as close as I can get my left calf

Thoughts? Do more or for enough?

Looks good, if you want to tighten it up a bit maybe a couple of plastic tabs on the cover side to "lock in" and pull it closer? I also see more experienced troopers talking about "comfort" while trooping and some cut a moon shape out of the back of the shin to allow a little more movement. Maybe after you get approval?

  4. Ok, everything is taped at this point with rough trimming of the back joints. Couple of issues, the seam from thighs to shin is not straight, maybe bow legs? Should I try to add to the outside of the left leg to bring it more inline with the shin? Also the tops of the thighs are different in shape (height), is this normal for a screen accurate suit?

Adjusted the thighs some to bring the tops more in line with each other, but the seam not lining up is not looking correct...

I switched the shin from right to left, the seam seems closer (maybe all this is a fitting/strapping issue?)
