    13. Regal Henrietta - Fan Film Premiere "Tomorrow and Tomorrow", 1 December 2021

    A couple of our garrison members made a film, and Regal Henrietta hosted the premiere, which doubled as a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish.

     

    I know that there are pictures of myself with @tdurden and @Manbehindthemask, but all I have this  shot of me:

    9. Flower City Comic Con; 26 September 2021

     

    Had one of my holster's Chicago screws come loose (right before the 501st/Rebel Legion/Droid Builders presentation, of course), so had to do a "field repair" halfway through the day; and I need to tighten up the ab/chest strapping and redo a couple of snaps; but overall a good day.

    7. All Heros Free Comic Book Day, 14 August 2021

    The hottest day of the summer, and I was more comfortable outside in the sun than I had been the weekend before in the mall.

    Unintentionally scared a couple of younglings, but I made friends with a strange dog, so that balanced things out.

    (I know there are those that say that a single con is a single troop, even over multiple days.  I say that if I take multiple days off from work, and have a 3-hour roundtrip each day on top of that, that they're multiple troops. :P)

    I'll start by saying that I haven't started a R1 build, but it's on my wish list.

    • Online at Joann, I found Symphony Broadcloth Polyester Blend Fabric Solids, both Jazz Blue and Dark Royal Blue, along with Sportswear Apparel Stretch Twill Fabric Solids in Dazzle Blue, but they either aren't available for shipping or there's a 2-yard minimum order! I don't think Joann has what I'm looking for.

     

    I found netting fabric similar to what you pictured in my local JoAnn's. If I remember correctly it only needed three layers to make it opaque.  Just do a search for "nylon net."

    Let's see - bells and biceps are on the wrong arms (didn't notice until I kitted down), one bicep rotated forwards, other bicep rotated backwards, "maker" band definitely not CRL :lol:

    Just referencing the clip above, and nothing else in the rest of the show -

    • These Stormtroopers appear to be wearing R1TK style armor.
    • I personally can't tell if the ear rank bars, traps, and tears are OTTK or R1TK, but
    • Take a look at 0:27, 0:32-0:34, and 0:56-0:58 - I think those tube stripes are cut out, but it could just be the lighting.  Or maybe I just want them to be cut out, because I feel that R1 buckets should be worn with R1 armor. :glare:
