[Anovos sent me a letter delaying their services, again]

When I placed my order back in May, BadBatch's advice to me was 'watch the movies - all of them - watch Clone Wars, watch Rebels, and then wait some more."

For now I'll wait a bit longer - with the continually renewing/re-growing yardwork, I wouldn't be able to make a good start on the kit until Fall anyway.

Of course, that's another couple months of looking at FOs and R1 TKs ... so who makes FOTK kits other than Anovos?

Lately, there are days when my job makes me feel like a faceless, uniformed number.  I've decided to have fun with that, and be a faceless uniform that people are happy to see.

Well, I'm still waiting on the arrival of my ANOVOS TK, so my "build" consists of a pair TK boots, two sets UnderArmour, a pair of basic approval/trooping gloves, a UKSWRATH Hearing Assist System, and an unassembled E-11 kit ...

Well, I ordered my Anovos TK kit.  Thanks to the Star Wars day coupon (15% off, May 4-5, MT42017) I basically ended up with free shipping.

Now to wait for Big Brown Box day, figure out what soft parts I can get while I wait, organize the work bench and clear out a work area ...

Hey Gary and welcome to FISD!  It is hard to beat that Anovos deal right now.  Head over to the Garrison Excelsior forum and sign up if you haven't done so already.  You can go out with them as a handler and get to meet a bunch of them even before you are done with your build.  Take a look at all of the Anovos build threads and also the Anovos EIB/Centurion Applications.  The anovos suit can look very nice once its completed.  Have fun and good luck!

Hello everyone, Gary here from Grand Island, New York.  I've been lurking about here since Celebration and have decided to bite the bullet and start a build.

If all goes well, I'm looking at joining the 501st and Garrison Excelsior.

I'm looking at ordering a kit from Anovos without the soft parts (at 6' and 200 lbs it should fit, and the 15% off Star Wars Day coupon adds a little incentive).

Like I said, I've been going through the threads (mainly the "Getting Started" section - thanks for those), but I'll take any advice you will give me.
