  2. I would and I will go with the CRL. If it explicitly mentioned by the CRL, it will be a point that would be checked for approval. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I don't think I read anything on this topic so let me ask you what are your thoughts... Are traitor and executioner face characters and therefore could have only one when trooping? My take, meaning it has no authoritative value, is: - traitor: most likely not, since it seems to be a standard TK with special weapon. BTW, did anyone notice that boxes are missing from the forearm on the flat plate? Pretty sure it's to accommodate the stunts... Executioner: I can see that character becoming a face character, the release of the movie will tell us for sure but should we troop with only one until confirmed? Thoughts anyone? 4. Would we have an opportunity for review and feedback before it becomes official? (TFA CRL) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Beautiful sculpt! Lots of very crisp lines. Beautiful! Now, If I wanted to be overly (accent on overly) critical and trying to be as screen accurate as possible, I would say the chest plate lines around the arm are too linear and should be more rounded. The upper legs pieces should be a little more rounded also when reaching the top of the leg. The cod piece is a little more smooth and does not have any edges/bumps same for the leg, it does not show much of an edge. Please don't get me wrong, you definitely have a first order stormtrooper armor there! No one would confuse that armor with anything else. I can only imagine the amount of work put already into it! This is awesome work and I would be proud to be caught wearing that armor! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. If it is not too much to ask, pictures with a tape ruler in the shot would be awesome!!! This would definitely help with the construction of replicas... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. A definitive congratulation on achieving the centurion level! We can only guess at the amount of time you spent contributing to FISD. Seeing that you still have time to bring your armor to the highest level is simply inspiring! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. That picture looks horrible if you ask me. The nose bridge has usually a more consistent spacing. The picture really shows too much too much narrowing black space in my opinion... I hope and it might just be a picture issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. @jimmiroquai: what are you using to do the sculpt? It looks like plaster in the picture but that does not seem to be right... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. For the upper levels, I'm wondering if we should talk about continuity of the pieces. At least if not mentioned explicitly, we should have more pictures on the CRL. On the current CRL, I think there are too many "hidden" areas... For example,I'm having a hard time right now understanding if the chest plate bottom edge should line up with the back plate or if a drop is allowed between the two. Thoughts? 11. Congrats! Don't forget to post a lot of pictures of your build... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Congrats and good luck. Don't forget post too many pictures to document your build! :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Second video is ready! Today, we are unboxing my BBB! Time to get in touch with the armor, start to get familiar with the different parts and think about the work that will be required. Just by looking at the pieces, I already notice that a couple of pieces are going to be giving me some problems (Thermal detonator, Thighs...). https://youtu.be/8JS604e3TGs Next video will be about reviewing the parts out of the box and describe the work that will need to be done. I'm thinking about one video for each section of the armor. I will be following the 501st Legion TK FO CRL order. Enjoy! Patient0x00
  14. Hello All, I have been reading for many weeks the different threads, especially ukswrath reference build, and I think it is time for me to start being a contributor. I have created a quick simple 1 min video as an intro to kickstart the project. https://youtu.be/pACnxuDeaAw I will continue creating video for the documentation of my build. I will also post pictures in the forum for easier consumption... Important: Please remember this is my build thread (accent on build thread). I know the controversy about fnarmour. Please refrain from starting any discussion on that topic, there are enough threads dealing with the topic. I will entertain any question related to the kit itself, of course. 15. Agree. I was thinking about building something of a hood and include a fan or something to mix the air... applying the heat gun directly would be a bad idea for sure! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. What about a heat gun? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EU2T8GG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_HdQ4ybYSF63MD Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. I was thinking about something... could it be possible to make this setup both an hearing assist and a voice changer? Since the voice changer is mono, we should be able to wire two mics on each channel and do the same with the output where it could go to an earpiece for one and to a speaker for the other. If the amplification is done past the split, this should help controlling the levels and keep at the appropriate levels without having a strong dependency. Thoughts? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
