1. This lil wing/pinch on the armor. It is only about an inch long. I left it for now. I think most of it will get removed when the front gets cut down to size the armor, and it will be behind the knee plate (if this is indeed the left shin)
2. i am not certain where to start, so i am going with what males sense to me rouogh cut, needs cleaned up but since i wasnt sure on how much return edge to leave i just followed the mold lines this was a little tricky i think more needs to come off, but i am ok with it for now
3. i went through when i did my parts inventory when i got my armor and marked the inside of all the left pieces with blue type this is barely laid on here to see if it is correct. i think i have them right but i am not 100% these pieces marked with an L were slightly longer than the pieces that are not marked. when held together they seem to match up pretty well
4. and all image links up to this point have been fixed...i did not go through and insert my doopy build. that link should open the fb album though. i need to paint and glue the counter, rework the trigger, glue trigger guard, then paint. since i have a hyperfirm i am waiting to finish it till i get my TK finished
5. Are the fb links working? I watch the video you posted and swapped over to using the laptop. I will go through and edit when i get home so they pop up.
6. I was a lil confused about which shin was which, this will help me move forward.
7. After checking the crl, Other build threads, etc. The numbers I was using for the plate of 122mm. With a 12mm gap between the panels and end caps were from someones build. He was just posting his measurements. Then others posted with the measurements on their TD's as well. After the dry fit I am good for 7.5 inches (190.5mm). The plate is 120mm long 95wide. So I didn't have to build it up with abs paste. So my oops moment worked out ok. I will paint it later, then assemble and glue and screw. I'm still debating where to start next, but I'll call that part good till the rain goes away.
8. I started by marking 4" and 6.5" on the bars. I then used a bit of papertowel to protect the metal and clamped it even with the edge of the pipe. I rolled the strip until the 4" line touched the pipe. I marked the 6.5" with a piece of tape and clamped to a scope rail attempt (too short) then bent it completely around. I marked the back edges 3mm from the cornerscamd used that as a guide to round them off. For the ends i eyeballed it and curled them out a tad with some pliers.
9. after the cover plate was cut crooked, i decided to use a sheet of paper cut to size to set the proper angles on the end of the pipe. it worked great A dry fit of the caps. Just a tad under the lines for 7.5 inches and at 186mm. For a dry run i will take it. Checking crl for final specs before i proceed.
10. My strips to make the clamps/td holder. I did a collage so i can post less links. I was looking at ukwraths build and he used 115mm for the cover plate, if those numbers work i can trim mine down without having to rebuild the crooked part. I'm going to double check that
11. I had to run home at lunch so i did some measuring.
The plate is off ny 2mm on the bottom edge of both sides.
Not as bad as i thought.
12. fore work I worked on the TD a little. I cut the cover plate down. I measured. Taped. Decided to cut.
The edges are more \ \ than I I. So my first mistake.
To correct it. I am going remove the tape from the pvc. cut paper to 180mm wide. Tape around the pvc. Then cut and sand so it has ends at 90 degress to the edges.
Then i will tape the cover on and mark the crooked area to be cut from one side. Build the other side back up with abs paste so it is at the 122mm width. Then sand and polish. So that part should be finished tomorrow. I will post pics of the screw up and in progress of the fix tonight and tomorrow. Small hiccup, but most things are fixable with research and time.
13. I grabbed a holstter from a local member who is switching over to a sandtrooper. Great price and super quick shipping.
14. found the measurements I was looking for and will trim it tomorrow. I went with 13mm on the right side of the control bar, 123mm long (which I can trim down to 122), and i marked 90mm wide with black tape and layed white over that at 95mm with marks at 85. (i saw different widths) I will trim to 95 since it is super close to the mold lines.
15. i marked 21mm from the edge and 25mm from the edge. I used a dremel at the 25 mm line. Sanded off the rough plastic and then cut at the 21mm line with lexan scissors. I then sanded down to 20mm In process of deburring the edges. And perfect. (or close enough, not the best measuring device but it works) to have the edges straight i eyeballed the tape arround the edges (dont reccomend. It was crooked. Fixed in another post) I found the dimensions for the cover plate? Control plate? White piece are to be 122mm. Where does the measurement start? Is there a certain distance from the bar and circle to the left or right edge? I will look through some build threads to see if I can find an answer. Worst case I eyeball it off of someones (or a few peoples) finished TD. Calling it done for the night and will pick it up tomorrow evening. ***edit The measurements for the length of the white plate are incorrect at 122mm. Troopermaster gave me the dimensions of 115mm for the plate and 7.25 in for lendth of the td. This will be corrected later in the thread.
16. went through and sesrched some threads so i could know which pieces were left or right. Biceps, forearms, thighs, shins, ears. I marked the left (i think) with blue tape. Now the fun part!
I am staring at the 4 shim pieces. Where do I cut? What do I do? All the build threads I have read in preperation and that is something i cant really find. How to do it so it fits me.
I will move to the TD. While I keep looking. It seems more cut and dry.
17. I have seen in some (older)threads about the screws that come with the kit for the helmet not being the correct size for centurian. I read a few more threads and after finding the correct size, went to ace and picked 6 of them up. The ones I purchased look like the ones that came with the kit. I haven't compared side by side.
18. I received my doopydoos E-11 kit on Christmas Eve, and my gal got me a hyperfirm E-11 for Christmas.
I started on the doopydoos kit last night.

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1372943959414905.1073741831.100000979431849&type=1&l=d02865fddb

22. Boots arrived today. Another step closer.
23. I finished the original neck seal and made a second.
I closed the original with hooks and eyelets.
The second one, my bobbin thread got jammed so I had to undo part of that neck seal and restart. Happened twice, so I filled another bobbin and finished it.
I like the longer bib on the second one, but the first is much cleaner overall.
Neck seal. finished. I may add some fabric to the original neck seal to increase the length of the bib. edit this is the other neck seal not pictured abve
24. I have 2 full rolls and i found 2 partial while cleaning out the basement. I'll grab more. Thanks.
