So with a final big push I got the Shoretrooper armour finished and submitted for approval! http://501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=28350

So on with the build, I decided the next step would be the greaves - I had to slightly increase the size of these due to having large calves from my days as a cyclist. Next I went to work on Paul Prentice's awesome buckles; cutting out the back and sanding them smooth. } Then I lopped through a section of his straps and bonded in to place. Also due to the support required I went back to using automotive filler rather than wood filler. My local hardware shop had a 30% sale on so not only did I pick up a new batch of Montana Gold Sahara Beige, but also a new paint gun and air compressor! Painting armour is now going to be so much easier! Also my Rebel Art Base shoretrooper trousers arrived - WOOT! Now time for distressing and then weathering! And so did I!

Already a member of the garrison and have been posting this build and also my Shoretrooper build there - its a bit quiet even for the outer rim though.

First outing will be to the Japanese Premier of SOLO - Yep I know almost a damn month after world premier. Sucks being garrisoned in the outer rim!

My garrison GML has already approved the build and asked for a couple more photos for my legion profile photos!! I will suit up again tomorrow and ballance our the bicep, forearm gap and post those here too.

Well spotted!!! Fortunately the glue hasn’t fully cured so I could remove it without a problem!! Currently cutting a new strip!!!

Ahhh yes! I actually sneaked a bit of tape behind it.

Awesome - I will go the popper route as I have plenty left! So the next question is - what do I do next!

Many thanks - Boy Its a nightmare taking photos on your own, running back and forth to the camera and back checking the armour to makes sure nothing has popped off or misaligned. I think because the elastic from the shoulder bell twas over the bicep they rode up the arm. I can resubmit this photo with the biceps pulled rather down. Also maybe the forearms need to go up a little. I was more focused on the breastplate and sniper knee that wants to swivel round.
