..I would be afraid of that pulling the ab down...does it? the thighs on my suit drive me nuts! I gotta figure something out soon!!

..I went to the store for a "for sale" sign, but then I saw the paint trays...WAY glossier!!!

..this is the reacurring problem that led to this question...my chest piece looks to narrow for sure, but some times it gets caught UNDER my ab piece...I would fasten them, but I am affraid I will lose alot of mobility...I hear alot of talk about how the FX chest is to big...not for me!!!

I have a belt set up like Steven pictured...now my thighs AND belt slide down...may have to add some type of suspender set up...

..that helps alot! measurements would be great...looks like I may have to start saving fo a rt mod suit! ..I thought FX was the biggest armor, but RT looks bigger...is it?

..I HATE the shims on my shins...so when I realized I need some more room in the fore arm, I had to come up with an alternative.The forearms fit OK , but when my muscle flexed (like reaching uo to take off my helmet) they were to tight and pinched against my bicepts..I got this idea from the split shin shots in ANH...I found a glossy paint tray ( its very thin and glossy) and fastened a strip on the inside ( held with tape for now..I'll come up with something better..) and removed the velcro except for the bottom..now at rest my forearms are closed, but when I reach up they flex open and the glossy paint tray material keeps any black from showing through..sorry for the lame pics...hopefully you get the idea!

..can someone measure their RT mod chest ( width and heght) for me?

..ever since I saw Daetrin's deployment pics , the chest plate on my FX armor has been buggin me...It looks like a bib!!! does anyone have some overal dimention measurements of a RT chest piece..I want to see if the RT is at all larger than the FX...being 6'4", 240lbs sucks sometimes!...I think I need bigger shoulder bells too....it never ends!

TE hit the nail on the head....do what he said, upsize the apendages, and thats about it!

...welll... - completly rework the helmet - I like the idea of upsizing the arms and legs ( I too hate my shims and the thighs drive me nuts!) ...you know what...as I am sitting here thinking and typing about what I would change, I realize it may be easier to say what I WOULDN'T change! -price -material -availability ..just about every piece of the kit could use some tweaking...but I think tops would be sizing...I still dig my FX though!

thanks, that helps!...so I was looking through the other deployment request threads and it seems that you ( Scott M ) and I are the only two who got denied due to the butt split... I don't see the split in any of the other deployed troopers pics..is this a newer requirement? Not trying to start anything but it is a bit frustrating that a FX helmet is acceptable, but the split is not..perhaps put the split location to a vote/poll? but I guess if the staff has spoken...it's your world, I'm just livin in it !

..I saw this little dealie at the local Radio Shack today.....maybe someone smarter about electronics than me ( pretty much anyone! ) can figure out how to record a static burst and wire it in to the radio shack amp....how cool would it be to be able to make your whole amp set up with parts from a local store!! ----------

cool...almost there!..my blaster tends to pull my belt down cause it has alot of metal parts and it's kinda heavy..I have the front of my belt attached with snaps, but nothing in the back..I'll see what I can do with what I have...if you can post some pics of the way you have your belt ( or start a "THIS is how your belt needs to be for deployment" thread) that would help!..yay , another excuse to work on my armor! ( my wife will hate you! )

..yeah,now I notice how black they look..they are green...heres a inside shot, let me know if you need more...I tried to get the gap below the belt, but from where it is cut,it just didnt seem to look right below the belt...I know it needs to be seperated for deployment, but does it need to be below the belt?

...I had to find a special place for my FISD patch! ..just a cheepo motorcycle helmet bag, some embriodery done localy, and a patch..and VIOLA!!! instant cool! ---------
