Hi! I picked up an Anovos Standard FOTK helmet from someone on eBay (I got lucky, it was a good one!), and am going to start work soon on customizing it. I'd like to paint / plastidip the interior, or if really possible line it with some dark soft fabric. Given that this helmet gives me much more room around the sides than my OT one, I was also hoping to get whatever comm system FOTK troopers use, along with an iComm if needed and the respective battery alongside two helmet fans. To start with, I removed the hard hat liner, as I couldn't fit my head all the way into the helmet. Once this was removed, my head slipped in to an almost perfect eye level. My first reaction was that the lenses are HORRIBLE. I had heard from other members that they weren't great, but I thought that meant something along the lines of an OT's view. I'd appreciate any tips on how you guys customized your own FOTK helmets, and/or where to go with mine! Note: Sadly this won't evolve into a full FOTK build for some time (likely many months / years) due to me starting college in a few months. Just wanted to get a full head-start on this helmet and make it self-contained to as high a degree as I possibly could.

I've PMed you the email of a guy who sells AM supplies. I'm not sure if this is the same guy as the AM armor maker himself or not, as I have conflicting results. Regardless, we should be able to get you parts of AM kit. I've gotten handgaurds, a right forearm piece, and my thigh ammo belt from him. Best of luck finding your parts!

Even the lower tier quality Hyperfirm guns are amazing. I've trooped with a B Grade for several months now - It is ROCK SOLID! The elite version makes me quite envious though. Possibly another future upgrade...

I just got mine yesterday and get to troop with it tomorrow. I'd say it's worth every penny!

I'm considering picking up a pre-made DLT-19 for use with my GoPro as a blaster-cam. I'm slightly worried about whichever gun I pick not being able to take the stress from a selfie style pose. I'd want to try and hold it one-handed by the grip for brief periods if possible. I'd appreciate any input you guys have! For reference, using an E-11 instead of a DLT but the same concept / pose:

If you're still having issues with the photos, use an image hosting site like Imgur. It has a phone app that I use to upload trooping photos which I can access easily through the website. No limit on uploads and comes with a few album tools to organize them as well.

I think I actually have the correct screws in my spare helmet kit box, but thanks for the offer! Will swap them out before my centurion application No paint / paint pen to those screws right?

Trooperbay sells Hyperfirm blasters and a D ring you will need for centurion. To fix it you need to drill a very small hole in the stock where it extends out a bit, bend the D ring a bit to fit it in, and then bend it back. As far as I know that's all you need to do. I'm very happy with my choice, but if cost is an issue I would buy the gun directly from Hyperfirm and the D ring from Trooperbay, depending on what quality gun you want.

Already done! Now I just need to figure out how to mount it as a body camera for when blasters aren't included at trooping events.

After seeing a boatload of images online, I finally got around to getting a GoPro (Hero 5 Session). Also got a wrist strap / mount to use, along with a voice activated remote that I can store in my helmet if needed. I plan on using it as a selfie camera / video camera on the E-11, and am currently exploring options to have it ride just over the top of my upper torso armor underneath the chin of my helmet as a sort of body cam. If anyone's got any tips or anything, please let me know!

My first troop is coming up this Saturday and Sunday at a convention. I DEFINITELY plan to use a few of these, thanks for sharing them!
