  1. That's perfect, thanks! I've looked at Trooperbay lots of times, but never saw this for some reason.
  2. Thanks very much Brian and Steve. That's perfect. Don't know why that hadn't crossed my mind. Brian-I hope to become a member of Garrison Tyranus in the future once I build my kit! I'm in Northern(ish) Virginia as well. Thanks again...
  3. I probably should've specified ID, hotel room key, that sort of thing. I understand for trooping those items aren't really needed most of the time, but at a Con walking around the floor it would be nice to carry a few personal items and not have to scurry all the way back to your room. Thanks for the suggestions!
  4. I've searched and searched the forum and hopefully haven't overlooked this subject, but are there any ideas about where to store a TK's personal items, i.e. wallet, ID, phone, etc.? I thought of getting a small black velvet bag for the holster and storing them in there since more than likely I'll be carrying my E-11 all the time. I have this iPhone case ---------------which has a very strong rare earth magnet in the back for mounting. I though of glueing in a magnet on the inside of my kit so I can stick my phone somewhere in a pinch! Ideas? Thanks!
  5. Rafe, Can I ask how you got it to come out so smooth? Others I've seen, the bucket interior looks very dimpled and NOT smooth. Your's looks fantastic! Thanks!
  6. I just received a new belt from Rob Kittell as sold here within the forums and it looks great!!: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19803-fs-white-canvas-belts/?hl=+rob%20+kittell Good luck!
  7. Sly, Great point. I've heard that Krylon Fusion is a great one to use. I've also heard of people using the Plasti Dip can version and painting it inside the bucket with a brush. That might be easier??
  8. Steve, thanks, got it. I saw it labeled in a separate forum that contained 'blueprints' of the E-11. Thank you!
  9. Oh, man that looks great! Is that Echo's fan system I see in there? I'm hoping to get one also, but Echo is a hard guy to get in touch with! Thanks for posting that pic!
  10. Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me what you used for that little piece sticking out of the barrel shroud in your 6th picture down?
  11. Just passed this thread on to a friend of mine. He's building one from a Sterling airsoft. He'll be thankful for the link and advice! Thank you!
  12. Thank you guys. I'm thinking of painting the interior of my bucket. And with these pads, it should look great as well as being comfortable. Thanks again for the advice!
  13. Hey Michael, incredible thread! Since you have posted such great pics, which parts didn't meet centurian criteria? Thanks! Chris
  14. Can I ask, what did you use for the bucket interior paint? Plasti-Dip or matte black spray? It looks great!
  15. Holy crap this looks incredible!
  16. Yeah, this is gonna take a while. Starting my first build, but don't need it done until late August. Two little children and a full time job will hinder me a bit!
  17. I actually started a thread about this and those are the pads I was going to order! With your post and pics you've answered my question! Thank you!
  18. I'll be following this thread. I'm starting my first build also and definitely relying on the wisdom of those who have come before me!
  19. Woah! Nice. Definitely doing this! Thank you for posting!
  20. I was wondering if anyone had any advice for the most comfortable pads for your helmet? I was thinking about going with these: http://www.amazon.com/NEW-ORIGINAL-US-ARMY-ISSUE/dp/B004RCLM8Q/ref=pd_sbs_468_2?ie=UTF8&dpID=41NyyK4cyCL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=1VXF5FFE22VHKQASN3QE If anyone by experience thinks they've found the best, please link below! Thank you!
