  1. Test fit time once again
  2. Rocking on! https://youtu.be/eoiY6CNoepU This next week is gonna be fun, and the push is to be ready for knocking on Tony's and Andrew's door next weekend. Once this blaster portion of the thread is done we're heading right back into the armor modifications, which I've been working on concurrently while doing E-11 improvements.
  3. A quick soldier and this bad boy is solid. Next scratched up for painting
  4. Moving on, I've marked locations and constructed an inner bolt.
  5. Lol -no doubt [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  6. Sweet! Awesome to hear these are up and running again SOON - can't wait to get mine whoop-whoop!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. And just so everyone is aware, this is just me trying to add a little more magic to my blaster and all these extras are not part of the CRL requirements.
  8. So let's hit the nail on the head, as it were, there is a difference between where the bolt "groove" or "guide" sits on my blaster. Mine is positioned higher than the one in the blue print, meaning I'm not going to get the full detail - however I'm a firm believer that something is better than nothing. This also why I won't be able to replicate the shell extraction pin at the front of the bolt as my "groove" sits in the road. Here's what I'm talking about: And mine...
  9. Time for me to grab a couple items from my van and it's tea time lol.
  10. I marked out where my charging handle sits, and cut out that section so it sits flush and almost seamless.
  11. For mine, I'm using copper pipe and fitting from my refrigeration gear:
  12. That's awesome Marc, beautiful example of how to adapt and overcome - fist bump!
  13. Using the blaster reference guide pictures from our Weapons Locker forum, I landmarked from where the scope sits above in reference to where the inner bolt.
  14. Ok, so while finishing touch-ups are being done on the counter, it's time to move to the inner bolt. This one is going to be a little more challenging to pull off with this type of blaster, as you will soon see.
  15. Stellar work Troopers [emoji38][emoji106]!
  16. Bawhahahaha [emoji23] Cheers!
  17. Using more "Fix-It Stik and sculpting tools I squared up the edges of the view port. To ensure the site glass doesn't get scratched, I left the protective plastic on as well as added painters tape on top of that.
  18. Time to start cleaning up the gnarly looking view port window. First I taped off the numbers to keep them clean, followed by a black gloss paint to cover the edges of where the site glass will sit.
  19. With the numbers fully secured into position, it's time to fill in the rest of the coring with "Fix-It Stik". I used a putty knife to smooth the surface for when it comes time to sand.
  20. Mint work Eric - very cool!
  21. Then a test fit of the numbers, I used a toothpick to hold the wheel firmly in place while I shifted it to a position I was happy with.
  22. Removal of the view port area using a drill, exacto, and microfile.
  23. Using a small drill bit, the four corners of the view port were made.
  24. Then measurements of the numbers area view port and marked them out.
  25. It's been a long night, but here we go. With all the numbers secured, I got measurements done for the display and cut out the site window using the face shield.
