  1. Ouch! That looks like a rather painful armor kiss. I had the same problem with my shin pieces; when they ride up over the top of the boot, I get a nice kiss right on the Achilles tendon. I have a fix for the problem, I just need to get it done. Definitely trim that up!
  2. Whoa! I'm almost speechless. Excellent work guys!
  3. I clock in at 6-02, and I don't have too many issues with my ANH kit. I'm still trying to dial in the legs, but I think that I've found a good compromise. I'm still waiting for the inevitable crack about my height... lol
  4. I have as well. 1/8 inch elastic tied in a knot around the nylon webbing to keep it from showing so much. And yeah, it's just one of those little move-accurate things that only those in the know would pick up on, but I like the authenticity.
  5. Gosh, wouldn't that be nice? What I think I'm going to end up doing is sewing a piece of elastic to the nylon tab that comes out of the top of the boot, and then set a snap or velcro on the other end, with the mate inside the center of the front side of the calf piece. No messing around w/ stirrups; simple and effective.
  6. Okay, I've got a bit of a problem. Nothing earthquaking, mind you, but I want to get some input from others who've gone before. I have found that the calves ride up over the top of my boots when I go up a set of stairs. With the restricted mobility, I can't correct the problem w/o a handler. I have an idea of how to solve the problem, but I'd like to get some input from y'all as well. Fire away, Gridley!
  7. I'm putting a Tusken together. The Krayt Clan website is awesome! Be careful though, it's a little dirty around there... not as clean and shiny as the FISD is.
  8. Mine would be at my first official troop. I had a kid ask me why I wear a helmet (think fast!). He caught me totally flat-footed, so I blurted that I wear it because I'm shy. This kid's eyes got reeeeaally big, and he says "Ohhhh!" It was like I'd just answered the meaning of life for him. Needless to say, his father was rolling in the background. All I could do was shrug, which produced more laughter from him.
  9. Greetings! Requesting my 501st access: http://www.501stlegion.org/members/display...php?userID=9710 Thanks! Tony
