You can find a lot of soft parts from the Ongoing Sales section -

Very cool and congrats! Look forward to your build! Always exciting to see an AP BBB! I'm pretty much where you are minus my AP BBB..haha.

No, they're fromTandy Leather. The snap only orders came with logos on them, but the ones that came included with the setter were blank.

I just used the non-logo snaps for the ones place on the armor and used the logo ones for the inside webbing.

I got my new ab plate from ATA yesterday as well. Time for a redo! Lol it's a little more yellow in color than my AP ABS, but oh well...
Ah ok good to know. Wish they sold the non logo snaps separately..looks cleaner.

I put in the upper-right-side ab, and butt snaps. I also made nylon snap plates and have begun placing them on the armor. I also have a bicep being joined there also.
Basically I am glueing some things this weekend.
What kind of snaps are you using? Are those Dritz? Looks good!

Congrats buddy! Always love seeing someone's BBB! Can't wait for mine from Mark!

Apparently it is screen accurate to trim the excess to fit, If you ever want to Aaron. Tony, Mark and Paul (trooper master) all pointed that out.
If you do shorten it though is it ok to clip off that big rib in the back? That would be my only concern with shortening it.

Hello fellow troopers,
I'm not sure this is the right section, but a buddy of mine is looking to join the 501st with ANH Tie Fighter Armor/Outfit.
He's not looking to go the Anovos route. Does anyone know if there is a vetted list of builders for this armor?
Thanks!

Just my 2 cents but if you're using Humbrol paints they do tend to be thick and 'goopy'. My best results with Humbrol paints is to mix it with a bit of thinner. It goes on smoother and doesn't get all stringy when you remove tape. I believe Humbrol is an enamel paint so be sure to use thinner made for enamel paint.

Does everybody got a patch with it? Cause I got none :/
I think so yes. Sorry to hear that. Maybe PM them. His account on here is zhongvador.

I had a mini BBB day today! I ordered the exact size I normally wear and they fit perfect. I was afraid they'd be too small or tight, but they're just right! Box got a bit beat up but good quality boots!

So, did you end up ordering your regular size or one size up?
No, I ordered the exact size I usually wear. Hope it works out.
-
Mine just came a few days ago if anyone would like to take a look. I typically wear a size 12 or 13 shoe so I got the 12. Love 'em! They fit nicely and are very comfy. I look forward to trooping in them!
Mine arrived today, and have to say they fit like a glove!!!
Thank you very much imperial boots!
Also thanks for the shipment reduction I've won!!
Congrats guys! How long ago did you order them? I ordered mine at the beginning of April and still waiting.

The backs of the calves and thighs can definitely be trimmed for comfort. I was actually just looking at the post of this fellow trooper who made Centurion and you can see the backs were definitely trimmed -

So I'm looking into buying from authenticprops and I've already contacted Mark about prices. Does AP only sell ROTJ stormtroopers or do they sell First Order stormtroopers as well? I want to have a First Order stormtrooper costume.
I could be wrong but I don't think Mark does FO armor. ANH armor for sure. I know because I ordered one from him.

Looks good man! The tears, stripes, and traps are all decals?

I like that tab system! Very cool.I decided to create a tab system to keep by ab and kidney lined up. I was going to use straps as well (as you can see by the snap plate in my ab), but turns out that just my belt holds this together quite nicely! Edit: Forgot to shout out Senty71 for the inspiration...I was thinking of a tab system already, but his changed the size I was thinking about!

Just wanted to give you props for giving me a shout out on your posting under the Newly Approved Members section. I don't feel like I did much to help you but I do appreciate the thought!
I'm not able to post/reply anything on there yet
And dang look at how your profile pic/info has expanded! That's awesome. I hope to be there soon!...come on Mark!...haha...jk Mark!
