    Gas prices

Yep, Tomball (NW of Houston) went below $2 early last week. At Wally World, but it still counts.
  2. Looks good. Silly question, how did you get the mirror finish on the lenses?
  3. Heard this theory on TD-0013's podcast in episode 1. http://www.adpov.net/
  4. How can you beat Darth Vader as played by Tony the Tiger? Otherwise, I think the cheese factor is a bit high.
  5. Crayfish. Small, freshwater, lobster looking thingies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crayfish And I'm assuming a bollard is a post set in the ground, given the context.

    Dieting

Went through this myself a couple of years back. I'm still a little pudgy (hovering about 215 - 220 at 6'2") but I have been doing the following. (most of which has already been said) 1. say bye to sodas. I lost ~8 pounds just by doing this. 2. Sugary snack food - it's not gone but is cut way back. 3. Fried food should be cut way back too. Hard to do in Texas, I know. (I swear they would fry a salad if they could) 4. I walk about 5 miles a day (knees can't handle running). The more than 20 mins consecutive of cardio mentioned elsewhere is where you really start burning the fat. 5. If you feel the need for seconds, give it a couple of minutes. I've found I really don't need them.
  7. Dave's Garage for one. (why is it that when I type that, I "hear" it in Dave's accent?)
  8. Dang. I just wanted to build a nice TK. Now you guys have me thinking about my NEXT project.
  9. Not much of a problem here in South Texas, but I hear good things about Underarmor Cold Gear.
  10. I saw something like this on the biker scout forums. OP really swore by it.
  11. Thanks for this. And to think I was just using a notepad to keep my list.
  12. Obviously, since I have been posting the last couple of days, I'm one of the 35% of the Houston area that has power. Thankfully, the death toll is low but that little Cat 2 ripped us a new one.
  13. Found this when I had the same question. -----
