Hello to all. Currently trying to research the best avaible 3D Files for FO TFA Stormtrooper. Obviously there are hundreds out there, but I'd like to start my very first 3D print effort off with a good start. So hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I was sent here to ask, as I was sent from several groups on Facebook.

The uploading of photos is an issue for me, I'm trying...I think to be honest I am out of my depth here, and beginning to regret this. I can't even distinguish between the right and left pieces, mine don't look like the ones RS Prop masters hold up in the video to show the difference (some do, some don't) I also have weird bits that stick out at the bottom of each piece etc, unlike there ones that are clean lines etc...totally my fault for leaving it this long. I THINK I NEED TO START TOTALLY FROM SCRATCH AND DRIVE YOU ALL MAD WITH BIT BY BIT PHOTO UPLOADS...SO here goes, forearms...I await a patient helper armorer! -

So I decided to start on the Bi-ceps, RHS first and no problems as I could/can see, then I did the left...D'oh! the thing is massive on me, I got carried away with the sizing and now, it is what it is... Now being that this suit is 9yrs old, matching could be an issue, so just buying a new bi-cep is not an option tbh (maybe) so can I just cut the width etc to get it to sit nicely? or would it then not pass inspection at it's not 19cm at the bottom and 17cm at the top? Can I pad it out under the black body suit? HELP! -

All I want to know before I cut into £50's worth of plastic, are my pencil lines on point? -
Hello All. I HAVE REMOVED ALL PREVIOUS TEXT AND PHOTOS, AS I HAVE DECIDED TO START AGAIN... I am trying to follow the RS Prop Masters Tutorials, I am starting as they do with the Right Bicep. Anyway to the build...The measurements they mention is 170mm around each piece at the bottom, and 190mm around the top of each piece. The right hand side piece has been sent to me with zero tolerance and is in-fact at 170mm already, but the top has plenty of room. Am I correct in saying I have to measure from the middle and then 85mm each way to achieve the 170mm at the bottom, and also the same for the 190mm at the top and hopefully draw a straight enough line so that they seat nicely? What also holds together the pieces together before you apply the cover strip? Tape? Glue? Attached are new photos, is the correct before I go cutting etc.

Can I just say thank you, as the other group site I am on, seem to be a bit non responsive, unless you ask the right question..But the pencil idea is just great and now I feel more confident with the build. THANK YOU AGAIN!

Hello to all my fellow 13 year olds (I'm 60 now) but in 1977 I was, and still are mentally...So after 9 years of my full RS Props unmade armour/uniform being in a cupboard/garage, and also losing a stupid amount of weight, as originally it was going to be a 1:1 full size statue in my lounge, I am in the process of getting all the bits and pieces needed to start my build and hopefully go trooping. Hope somebody can help. One thing I would love is to find is the rest of the photos I downloaded all those years ago (see attached) as they are the only ones I found that are close up, there are shed loads of YouTube videos of people doing build but they are 10ft away from the camera, and I need detailed, as I cannot afford to get this wrong...I was just quoted £35 plus shipping for two marigold gloves and rubber hand guards!!! Come on!!!

What a lengthy read but also so rewarding. Great work people. Would love to get those .STL Files when you've finished, my gf is a Maya user. -
Guys keep my name in your friends..I am going to suprise you all with something soon regarding E11 Blasters. Mark in UK. Just sick if DD's lack of response, numbers and emails that aren't ever answered etc. This will change guys and gals. Don't mean to sound arrogant which is not me..I just want to help fellow brothers and sisters out there and try and better things a little.

RS Prop masters Web site isn't complete. ..C'mon guys!! They do sell boots but contact Andrea on [email protected] directly...don't hate me Andrea if your inbox gets a little busy..just give me a freebie

RSPROP Masters sell 501st approved boots £45. They are black then painted white..it worked out cheaper than for me to buy a pair of black boots then all the stuff needed to prepare and then dye. Bargain.
