I found another couple possible sources:
--------------
Each company carries lighter weight material, I just posted the link for the heaviest they carry. Let me know what you think
-
Excellent tutorial. Thanks

Also Olfa makes the best hobby knives on the planet, well worth the price. If you have one they make a replacement blade that is a mini saw. It's very thin and crazy sharp. It cut the end off my hasbro blaster like a hot knife through butter.
Just my 2 cents.

I'm not father material..
Thats what I thought till I had my son. Never been happier .

Well I've looked locally and most places call heavy duck cloth "canvas" . Thing is I live in a major metropolitan area, so you would think I would be able to find it.
-
Has anyone tries tarp canvas for their belts? I found a place that has "natural" color in 3 weights (10, 12 ,17 ounce).
-----------
Anyone know what weight was used in the movies, or which one is best for trooping?
Thanks

Outstanding collection! Buy them now while you're single. If your spending habits don't get cut severely after marriage, they certainly will after kids.
Truer words were never spoken.

Payment sent.

Do you have any left? Also do these have a glossy or matte finish?
Thanks

What is the best 'role' for big people to play?? Anyone have thoughts? Thanks for all the help, I am just interested in joining up.
The bigger guys I've seen are usually tie pilots or scout troopers. It's really up to you. You could always modify a stromtrooper kit by buying some ABS and custom making some shims and extensions.

Awesome!
Thanks guys.
Next question....anyone here doing good hypafirm or resin casts of a sterling
Please send a mail to john.danter@btinternet.com if you know of anyone....or if you are that someone
Stomper has a thread in the sale trade area for a run of excellent resin blasters.

I know in ESB they had stunt and hero variations, don't know about ANH. I finally found the link I couldn't find before to some good ESB blaster shots.

Nice to have a recomendation on boots . Now if they just made them big enough for me . Hopefully the MC 12s I bought are going to be big enough, or maybe I can get them stretched out.

Hey SuperTrooper,
You think you might be able to enlighten me on these speakers. As I'm looking to get 2 of em, and found some at a local shop near where I live (in Canada). These look like they would work, but I know nothing about lid speakers, or speakers at all!!! What should we look for. I'll even push my luck and ask you to tell me if they would work nicely .. if not, I might order one set from you right away! :-))
Thanks for the help!

Those speakers are too big to fit inside a hovi-mix aerators. I'm not sure which aerators you have on your AP helmet. You also need to get an 8 ohm speaker instead of a 16 ohm otherwise the amps that most troopers use may blow the speaker. Lastly those are really low quality speakers.

You can find Jodhpur boots on ebay for less, but the sizes may be an issue. The links are definatly a good resource to reference.

Hey gang,
A big thank you to everyone who made run one go off without a hitch. I'm getting close to ordering run 2.
These speakers will fit inside the accurate hovi-mix aerators. The cost is $14 per set and $2.50 shipping anywhere in the US. I will ship elsewhere just let me know.
I need about 5 more sets spoken for before I place the order.
Interest list from FISD:
Rob
Tk8280 (5 sets)
ShadowEngineer
Shalako
TK4999 (2 sets)
Jango_Fett_Jr
Bacta-back-Bacharach
Bigturc
Thanks

Glad everyone likes them.
Got mine in the mail yesterday! Thanks! Boy are these small!! I look forward to installing them in my bucket. They may be small but they just barely fit inside the hovimix aerators.
Now, get someone to post a tutorial on how to install and we're set. Here is a picture of TK1536's aerator speaker system, just ignore the paint caps:

Thanks for the update. I don't know what the deal was with Paypal this time. It usually sends immediate payment without waiting for clearance <_< . Maybe something was screwed up that day. Sorry for the delay.
No problem, I think you sent an e-check, instead of an accont balance transfer. Don't worry I did the same thing a while back.

That 3 pennies worth of thickness all the way around increases the circumfrence about 1.5 inches, assuming my geometry is right. You can always do it more than once if you need to. It's better to take too little than too much.

Mark, welcome. I didn't know you were a TK.

Also, has anyone of you enlarged the "head hole" and make it bigger so that you would have less difficulty to get your head in there? I noticed in the movie that Han's lid had been enlarged so much, and the poor guy needed to twist it off anyway Anyone had the courage to do this too?
Cheers
I'm gonna have to do this on mine after trying on a friends. I read that some people make a trimming guide by glueing together a quarter, 3 pennies and a razor blade. Basically the quarter goes around the inside edge, the pennies are the spacers, and the razor scores a new line that is exactly the same outline as the origional. You just have to make sure you get trim longer than "standard".

Your album link goes to the aerator thread.
Otherwise, nice looking helmet.

Before the update I always stayed logged in from one day to the next. Since the update I have to login about twice a day. Yes I remember to make sure the remember me box is checked, and I haven't changed any cookie settings.
Anyone else having this problem?
