The shims are under the ab and kidney plate, yes. My torso is pretty thick and I trimmed only the flash off of the WTF casts. So I used the provided shim stock to make the shim, see the strapping photo for the backside. I think my shoulder white elastic could be adjusted slightly to improve the alignment of the kidney to the ab plate. I noticed the kidney is about 1" higher than it should be. Did you boil and curve them yet? I eyeballed mine a bit, because I've seen some builds with them hanging far back. Then I used the bumps to align them to the notch you're showing in the picture. Keep it up! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Now that my basic approval was submitted to my GML, I started back on the blaster to add the D-Ring for EIB. I masked off the blaster, just forward of the end cap. Then, I Dremeled off the formed D-Ring and drilled the mounting hole. Good thing, the Rubies cast makes the top section of the mold solid! After a bit of sanding and detailed filing, I installed the D-Ring from a spare light fixture, and I was ready for paint. I masked off the rest of the blaster with a large ziplok bag, and followed the same process (above) for painting the cap and new D-Ring. Voila! An EIB modded Rubies build. I love my WTF armor. Though I'm not heavy set, I have large thighs and my left is a bit tight. Other that that, great kit, and excellent customer service. I'm curious about this as well. My Rubies build looks pretty accurate, using 3D printed greeblies. You'll notice I have a cocking spring inset in the chamber, cocking handle, and all the other details outlined in the CRL. Sharing my E-11 with my local Garrison members, they all thinks it's quality. Lightweight, accurate (haha!) and inexpensive. I think they all ran out to buy Rubies blasters to mod them. Lol! Took everyone's advice... And my GML Jason. Cleaned up the eyes with my set of needle files, and trimmed the ears down. Looks waaaay better! Since I was reworking the bucket I also adjusted the opening at the S-Trim to remove a bit of excess flashing. Makes getting the helmet on and off a bit easier. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Thanks for the feedback, guys. My GML said the same, though for basic approval it should work. The ears I'll figure out for EIB. They're thick due to the face plate pitching too far aft, and my cap/back was pulled fairly straight, with no curve. My noggin is gigantic, so I pitched the face intentionally so I could get the bucket on my head! LOL choices I suppose. The eyes could use a trim, you're right. The reference photos I'd seen with that edge were mostly Sandtroopers. I'll also add it was the first component I assembled, and I admit I was timid trimming for the first time. The lenses are on epoxy puttied T-nuts, so if vision becomes a concern - - it was already tough going down one stair and a threshold - - I'll surely take your advice. Love it, thanks again guys! The belt was the FINAL detail I needed for submission photos. My lovely--and SUPER pregnant--wife, Lauren helped me get dressed and navigated me around stairs and thresholds.
